I still can't root my Alcatel 918n.
I'm always getting the SP FLASH tool error : (8100)
'Cannot find usb port!'
Na-download ko na rin yung one-touch-upgrade-s-1-7-9-setup
but it says that my phone is updated.
Help naman po.. thanks!

Specifically which apps are you trying to remove? What's your Android Version? Kung V2.3.6 ka, nasa custpack na folder un. You must delete it manually.

MT65xx means any chipset that begins with MT65 (eg MT6575, MT6573, MT6515). Error san sir? PLease state the error.

Sir, anung pinag kaiba nung mt65xx sa mt6573 . ayaw kasi mag install eh meron laging error.. salamat in advance

sir help naman po.. nag root at v6 supercharge kasi ako then after nun bigla nalang namatay yung phone ko tapos nag on hanggang menu lang then black screen tas namatay na ulit.. please help po...

thanks sir rain. na delete ko na. problema ko naman ngayun, pag mag install ako nang application, sinasabing 'application not installed'.. pa help po.

Good pm po. Pa help naman po. na brick po yung phone ko. After ko po kasi i root eh mali yung na enter ko na gmail account eh ang paraan lng naman daw para palitan yun ay i factory reset yung phone. ginawa ko ung factory reset kaso po nung nag reboot na yung phone black screen lang lumalabas. Naeenter pa naman po sa recovery mode. 2.3.6 po yung android version niya ....ty in advance

d ko pa na try ang ibang application. nag install kasi ako nang asphalt before eh hvga yung na install ko, hindi fit sa screen. uninstall ko taz nag download ako nung hvga na version, yun, ayaw mag install. application not install ang sabi. taz ibalik ko nlng sana yung dati (wvga) pero ganun na rin sa kanya, application not install din. meron kaya prerequisite na na delete ko sa custpack na folder?

parang hindi nga ma install lahat nang application. sumubok ako nang isa, ganun din po. 'application not installed'

Try lang. Bsta importante is custom recovery then back up.

curious lng po.. 1st time user lang kasi ng android phone.. sir phone base ba ang rooting?.. what if papalitan ko ung SD card ko?.. or either rooted pa din xa even magpalit palit ako ng SD card?.. and for example nagawa ko ng mgpartition., so if papalitan ko SD card ko.. back to partitioning process ulit ako? and smooth pa rin ba kapag imaximaze ko ung SD card ko 32GB size?

1. Once your phone is rooted. It is rooted forever, even if you remove your sd card. Or no sd card at all.
2. If your first SD card is partitioned into two partition, then your second SD card is not. If the second SD card is inserted. You will again parition your second SD card because it is not partitioned unlike your first SD card. But if you insert back your first SD card, you don't need to re-partition because your first SD card is already partitioned.
3. Yes, a 32gb SD card will still be smooth. But my advice is to use a Class6 or above SD Cards for they are faster than Class 4 and 2.
