Ts. cdc serial driver ang problema ko .hndi mka detect yung sp tool ko sa fon ko kapag sa downlod na aku

same tayo ng problema. naghahanap din ng cdc serial.

wala rin sumasagot sa tanong ko:

i have followed steps #1 but i can't finish step #2.

naghahanap kasi ng CDC serial iyong pc, di niya madetect don sa attached files from page 1. ano ba dapat gawin dito? i tried to proceed to flashing but hindi rin madetect ang cp ko.

please advise masters. thanks in advance.

really want to root this phone as i only have ~50MB memory available for me. dami kasi installed apps by default, unit came from sun. hope i can optimize the use of this phone with your help. thanks again guys.

edit: by the way, this is my first smartphone. pabinyag naman.

how do we know if its properly installed or not? nainstall ko kasi iyong PdaNet and in fact iyan gamit to connect my pc to the internet using the phone as a modem.

ang hindi ko lng alam ay kung bakit naghahanap ng CLC serial sa tuwing i-off ko iyong phone at iconnect sa PC for step 2 (thru recovery mode).

and how do we also know that all the drivers are properly installed? i'm interested to know more about rooting phones, i don't even care kung masira tong phone kung magkamali. lol. sana po maroot ko na.

Pano palitan ung message tone ng mp3 song? puro mga nka default na nka store na message tone lang meron.

kung 2.3.5 ka.. mag custom rom ka. meron sa page ni sir blue rain or kay sir banjo.. search mu n lang..

kung 2.3.6 ka naman sir, i suggest u to just root, sd partitioning and install link 2 sd, flash buildprop.

may isang prob pa pala ako.. yung about sa FAILED TO LOCATE APK FILE... nag punta na ko sa playstore para sa root explorer kaso may bayad ehh.. nag try ako nung ES File Explorer ewan ko kung tama ba.. di ko ma locate yung APK file..

@ ts: hindi kaya may problema sa drivers ng current released alcatel 918n's? eventhough we have installed preloader and pdanet, naghahanap pa rin ng cdc serial. hindi nga rin makakonek ang Android Manager ng pc ko sa Android Manager ng cp ko.

i want to make sure if the correct drivers are really installed pero i can't even use "USB tethering" on my phone para gawin siyang modem. (although pdanet works.)

try to install OTU, but don't run it. may sarili rin kasi syang drivers para sa alcatel..

nainstall ko na po and did not follow thru with running it, still not able to continue with flashing. i'll give it a try again when i get home.

edit: still waiting for feedback about CDC serial. cna't find it in the net.

kung rooted na phone mo, you can access all the system files na.
kaya sya FAILED TO LOCATE APK FILE, kasi iba directory ng ibang apps,

hindi sya sa \system\apps nakalagay,
kundi \custpack\app

tapos yung ibang apps naman sa
\custpack\JRD_custres\app

yan ang reason kaya FAILED TO LOCATE APK FILE.

download ka ROOT EXPLORER dito, search mo lang.
be careful when removing apps, it will cause DAMAGE to your system if you removed important apps.
nangyari na sa akin yan. haha

anyway, OTU can solve it naman..
