sir, mali yata nasabi ko after evaluating the screenshot. you can verify using root explorer, go to data/sdext2/data and check if a folder "com.gau.go.launcherex" exists. if it does not, create one and see what gives. (your files being backup was in data/sdext2/data/ as shown by your screenshot).

if it still does not work, using root explorer mount system as r/w and try to restore your apps.

Q: Is there any way to make OTU do more faster if in case I'll be doing an OTU again?
A: Yes, please download THIS, mirror HERE extract it and copy the files inside the folder of "downloaded" TO the folder named "downloaded" found in the OTU's installed directory (eg C:\ONE TOUCH Upgrade S 1.7.9\downloaded (here) ). Then do an update.

By the way, has anyone tried this? Does it work?

sa wakas na root ko na rin, downloaded and installed one touch upgrade. Sobrang tagal pala i one touch upgrade pero sulit ang pag hihintay.

After one touch upgrade, step 3 na agad. Then kaboom tuloy tuloy na pag flash

MD5 mismatch.yan din ung error na naexperience ko.reason nyan nde completed ung backup mo or nacorrupt ung backup mo.

kung my iba kang backup file try mo un gamitin.

ung nadownload ko sa link ni bluerain natagalan parin ung pagdodownload tingin ko ung sarili download folder ng phone mo sa OTU ang dapat ibackup at gamitin.pero kung parehas kayo ng modelo ng unit ni sir bluerain i think magwowork.2.3.6 sken.

Mga Boss, 1 week palang yung Alcatel Glory 918N. Wala pa naman akong ginagalaw sa phone ko, galing kasi to sa Sun Cellular. Ngayon, puro white screen nalang to. Ano kayang nangyari dito? At paano maayos? Salamat!

kung wala kang ginawang kakaiba sa phone mo baka factory defect yan.kung wala kang custom recovery tiyak hindi ka nakapagbackup.kung hindi ka nakapagbackup hindi ka makakapagrestore. hmmm...

try mo kayang tanggalin battery, mmc, simcard...kung white parin baka One Touch Upgrade nalang solusyon dyan...

white screen, meaning hindi nyo talaga magagamit or white screen before opening apps?

ang alam ko, the white screen that appears when you open apps or switch back to home means those are "lags" experience by the system. nangyayari iyan if you have many apps installed. try to install v6 and kickass if your phone is rooted. if it's not, root it and install v6.

if it's a white screen na hindi talaga nagagamit ang phone as in "white" lng talaga makikita mo, hardware defect na iyan. but hardware defects of units from sun are rare.

lol. OTU will immediately start at 50% so it's normal to get to 60% in less than 30 minutes. :P

i mean ang bagal pala...kung may back-up na sya i think sa loob ng 30 minutes tapos na ung OTU ng phone nya..

nga pala...working ung setup wizard kapag nagloko ang homescreen button, lock/unlock screen at unable to recieve incoming call dahil sa cwm nandroid restore. tested ko na..2x
