Heheh. My current phone is HTC Explorer pero hanggang Dec 27 na lang ang pag-gamit ko dahil may darating na new phone para sakin eh, Sony Xperia Acro S and it will be my last phone until I find a job after college. Maraming salamat din po sayo sir at sa ibang mga nag feedback. Maganda kasi ang quality ng mga hardware parts ng Alcatel kaya may kamahalan ng konti.

Mga sir pa help naman, ung alcatel ot-918n *changeable cover* ko , stock sa android logo. Can't go to recovery mode. Hanggang android logo lang. Tapos kapag i o - otu ko , sinasabi. Latest version na daw po ito. Pa help naman mga ka sb/aot. Merry christmas .

I cannot confirm sir, 903D and 918N has the same chipset but the CWM is based on 918N stock recovery. So I can't say that it can. Mahirap na sir baka ma brick pa ang phone mo eh wala tayo back up ng 903D.

rooting same in hacking sa mga symbians phone
pag naroot mo na yung android phone mo pede mo ng maaccess yung system file so pede ka ng magcuztomize at mag add ng mga tweaks for superior use. but bago mo gawin yung mga ito be sure to have a back-up of your rom para in case magkaproblema ka makakabalik ka sa dati

Meron akong naka plan na Alcatel Glory X 918N, Android 2.3.6.. Nagbabalak ako kasing bang upgrade into Gingerbread OS.. at gusto ko rin ilipat yung apps sa SD card..

Tanong ko lang :

~ Applicable ba yung tutorial mo sa model na phone ko?..

~ kapag niroot ko po ba? walang mawawala sa settings?..

~ Meron pa bang bluetooth at wifi?..

~ Maapektuhan ba yung settings sa naka plan na SIM?..

~ Mabubura ba yung contacts sa Phone Memory?..

~ Pagkatapos iroot ay nandun pa din yung mga naka install na apps..

yup applicable po ito sa 2.3.6 at 2.3.5
upon rooting wala pong mawawala ang nagyayari lang inaallow lang nito maaccess mo yung sytem file at mawala yung mga permission denied.
kung kuntento ka na sa phone mo better to stay it as stock and unroot. pero kung gusto mo ma maximize yan syempre need mo iroot yan para macustomize mo sya at malagyan ng mga tweaks for better performance.

Sa mga hndi makalagpas sa step 2, try this OTHER PROCEDURE. This is what i did to root my Alcatel Glory 918N Suncellular Plan:

1. Copy and Paste SuperUser zip file to the root of your SD card.

2. Download One Touch Upgrade (OTU) Software from alcatel website - (para ma-recognize ng PC ang alcatel unit mo).

3. Install OTU and "TRY" to do an upgrade by connecting your USB to the Desktop PC, pag nagkaroon na ng greenbar, click "cancel".
- (This is to know that you have a connection with the PC)

4. Install PDAnet.
(then skip Custom Recovery Steps 1&2).

5. Do Steps 3-9 (pag hndi na-recognize ng PC ang unit mo, remove the battery, put it back to your Phone and repeat steps 3-9) before timer reaches zero.

6. Once "Download OK" appears, do the open custom recovery by pressing and holding Power Button + Volume Up (sabay po ito).

7. Immediately proceed to steps 3-5 of the ROOTING PROCEDURE (use volume buttons to scroll and click the power button to "confirm file").

8. Keep clicking "go back" until you see the first screen with the "reboot" option.

9. You'll see the green android SuperUser icon from your apps after rebooting.

10. Congrats! Rooted na phone mo! (time to make a SD partition)

What do you mean? Medyo confusing ang tanong mo sir.
