Guide for Android Version 2.3.5 / 2.3.6 users:

Requirements:

- Custom recovery installed (ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.8)

- A free space on your micro sd card

Back up procedure:

1. Boot into recovery by pressing and hold POWER BUTTON + VOL UP buttons.

2. Choose backup and restore.

3. Choose back up.

4. Wait until it's done. Make it sure that no error(s) will occur.

5. Remember that the last line would say "Back Up complete" or the like. Or else it will result to an MD5 Mismatch if you try to restore.



Restore procedure:

1. Boot into recovery by pressing and hold POWER + VOL UP buttons.

2. Choose back up and restore.

3. Choose either restore or advance restore. If you want to fully restore your back up then choose restore. If you want to restore only a part of your back up files (eg system only) then choose advance restore and choose the folder on which you want to restore.

4. Confirm restore.

5. Then wait until it's done.

Data2Ext for Alcatel Glory 918N
Ok here’s a fast tutorial on how to make data2ext work on our phone the Alcatel 918N

Requirements:
- ES File Explorer (or any root explorer but I prefer ES File Explorer)
- Rooted Phone
- Your phone must have ext2 support
- Mount system as writable/readable (on your explorer)
- SD Card partitioned in 2. 1st Parition must be fat32, 2nd partition must be ext2.

First of all. Format your 2nd partition to ext2. If it is already in ext2, then format it again.
Note: Kung meron na kayo ng files na nabanggit dyan sa mga specified folders. Then proceed to step 4.

1. Download the files here. And extract files. Make a new folder and name it “scriptz” on the root of your sdcard. Then browse inside the system files of your phone and follow the following steps.
2. Copy busybox_d2sd to /system/xbin
3. Copy e2fck to system/bin
4. Copy 01data2ext.sh to /sdcard/scriptz
4. Copy install-recovery.sh to /system/etc (If prompted to overwrite, then yes)
5. Set intall-recovery.sh permission to rxw -rx -rx
6. Reboot phone
7. Wait until booted to OS
8. Confirm your internal storage. If hasn’t changed, wait for a couple of minutes. Then check again.

Magda-down grade ka from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5..

Meron akong alternative sa pag unlock ng phone ng di nagda-downgrade to 2.3.5 kaso di ko pa tested pero pwede siya sa 918n.. nasa SUN Shop pa kasi phone ko kasi pina repair ko..

paano sir? pa share po ung alternative way mo para ma try natin.

Ahh. Disable mo sir ang Signature Verification sa recovery menu. Explore lang sir at makikita mo un.

Naku sir, ung kasi sakin galing sun eh both unlocked. Hindi ko rin sir masasagot yan dahil hindi ko pa nattry yan.

As I've said sa first post ko, hindi nagana SuperOneClick sa latest Alcatel 918n. Nainstall mo na ba ung required drivers sir?
