[TUT]How to Enable/Disable Applications/Menus Using GPEDIT.msc

ang Group Policy Editor po ay ginagamit sa pagse-set ng mga Policies sa PC natin gaya ng pag-aalis ng mga commands sa Start menu at Control Panel, pagdi-disable ng access sa mga applications gaya ng regedit, Task Manager, System Properties at iba pa..

isa ito sa mga tinitira ng mga virus-makers ngayon kaya sakit sa ulo kapag pag-open mo ng My Computer e may autoplay ang hard drives mo o kaya walang Folder Options menu sa Tools at kung anu-ano pang sakit sa ulo..para alisin ang viruses na ito, refer kayo sa post na ito..

ang tutorial na ito ay ginawa ko para sa mga taong biktima ng disabled applications at missing menus/features sa PC natin..

Pano Mag-open ng Group Policy Editor
1. Click Start. Click Run.
2. Type GPEDIT.msc.
OR
1. Go to Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
2. In cmd.exe, type gpedit.msc.

ang mga TUT sa baba ay gagawin nyo sa loob ng Group Policy Editor..

Kapag Disabled ang Task Manager
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Ctrl+Alt+Del Options..
2. Double-click Remove Task Manager then select Disabled, then OK.kung di pa rin, select Not Configured..maalin sa 2 un kc minsan di agad gumana dahil sa virus..

Kapag Disabled ang Regedit
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
2. Double-click Prevent access to registry editing tools then select Disabled, then OK..

Kapag Disabled ang Command Prompt
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
2. Double-click Prevent access to the command prompt then select Disabled, then OK..

Kapag Walang Run sa Start Menu
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar..
2. Double-click Remove Run menu from Start Menu then select Disabled, then OK..

Kapag Walang Search sa Start Menu
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar..
2. Double-click Remove Search menu from Start Menu then select Disabled, then OK..

Kapag Walang Folder Options
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer..
2. Double-click Removes the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu then select Disabled, then OK..

Kapag Walang Recycle Bin sa Desktop
1. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Desktop..
2. Double-click Remove Recycle Bin icon from desktop then select Disabled, then OK..

Para Walang Autoplay (mas safe pag nagsaksak ng flash drive w/ virus)
1. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
2. Double-click Turn off autoplay then select Enabled.
3. Select All drives from the drop-down list..
4. You can also use this program to turn off autoplay..guide how to use: click here..

Kapag Walang System Restore Tab sa Computer Properties
1. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > System Restore
2. Double-click Turn off Configuration then select Disabled, then OK..

kung may kulang pa at may gusto pa kayong malaman tungkol sa Group Policy Editor, post lang kayo d2 ok?

PARA SA MGA MODS: pansin ko lang madalas na problema ng mga symbianizers e gawa ng virus.. mga disabled na task manager, missing folder options, etc.. kung ga2wing sticky ang thread na ito, mas madali nila mki2ta at mas madali maso-solve ang problema nila..

try to use XP professional bro..

and Windows XP Home does not include GPEDIT; XP Home users can apparently run this program if they have access to files from an XP Pro (or possibly Win 2000?) installation, by doing the following:

* Copy the files gpedit.dll and fde.dll from \WINDOWS\System32 on the XP Pro machine to \WINDOWS\System32 on the XP Home machine.
* From a command prompt issue the following commands on the XP Home machine: regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\System32\gpedit.dll

* regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\System32\fde.dll Open the Microsoft Management Console (mmc.exe) and select File->Add/Remove Snap-in... Then click Add. Select the Group Policy snap-in from the list of installed snap ins.

You can now edit the Group Policy on the local machine. But XP Home doesn't support the same feature set as XP Pro, so the policies you are looking for might be missing.

For those who have XP Home, there are ways to install these tools in XP Home, but still can prove it if it will work.

bossing pano po pag walang sub na system under sa administrative templates..nagtataka po kasi ako meron sa lappy ko pero ung desktop alang ganon windows component lang tas under non ala pa rin po..nkakapagedit na ko dati dun kaso sa desktop na toh di ko talaga makita..ano po bang problema nito at pano ko maaayos to?salamat mga bossing na tutulong

ask ko lang po sana sa GPEDIT ng windows paano po malilimitahan ang lalabas sa start menu gamit gpedit may shop po kc ako saka ayaw ko din basta basta naiinstallan kc lapitin ng virus...salamat po
