[TUT] Stained 3D Text Effect Using SketchUp

Mabilis at simpleng 3D text effect gamit ang Google SketchUp.

Requirement:
Google SketchUp (any version)


Difficulty:
2/10

1. Open Google SketchUp. Use 3D Text Tool.

2. Type any two(or more) words separately. Using the Scale Tool, resize the text up to 700%.

3. Arrange the 3D text using Move/Copy Tool. And using Rotate Tool, arrange the second 3D text as show on the image.

4. Again, using the Rotate Tool, rotate the second 3D text but this time click and rotate it from its top face. After doing so, open the Shadow Settings window (Window > Shadows). Any settings will do or just copy mine.

5. After getting the right shadow settings, open the Styles Window (Window > Styles). On the Select tab click the drop down list, click Style Builder Competition Winners and select Stain Edges with Frame.

6. Save your work. And you have a nice stained 3D text effect in a breeze.

gud eve po sir... ginagamit ko tong sketch-up pagnagdedeign ng bahay kaso di ko mahanap2 yung render na tool... pwede po ba paturo sir?

May ganito ka pala master, ngayon ko lang nalaman =) naging interested ako sa 3D ngayon I hope matutunan ko rin Google SketchUp pero for now Cinema 4D muna =)
