kuya pahenge nman po ng mga TUT sa linux ung mga Command nya, gus2 ko ksi mag-Linux pro wla akong alam sa mga Command nya, examaple: sudo, pa help nman po kng mron ka Ebooks sa Linux Command.. and thanx in advance, sna mktulong ka po sakin ^_^

Friends,
USB Mode Switch is available and can be installed on any Linux distro. Please see Page 1 for a manual method of installing it. Check under "Internet" section.
In Ubuntu 10.10, USB modems are automatically detected and Ubuntu will automatically install the needed files (such as USB Mode Switch). You have to go to another place where you can download the files though (such as an Internet Cafe). In Ubuntu 10.04 it is not automatically detected. But we already addressed this, the tutorial is on Page 1 too, under the "Internet" section. Basically the files for USB Mode Switch is included when you burn the Ubuntu ISO to a CD.
After installing the USB modem, next step is to set up Ubuntu so that you can use the USB modem to browse the Internet. The Tutorial is also on Page 1, under the "Internet" section.

di ko alam kung preinstalled na ung usbmodeswitch jan .. pero malamang installed na dahil later version yang OS mo ..
salpak mo lang ung mf627 mo then madedetect na yan .. normally kasi pag walang usbmodeswitch.. ung usb mo ay cdrom lang .. makikita mo dun ung dashboard app and drivers ng modem mo for windows .. gudlak ..

Hi Friend,
Hindi tutorial ang kailangan mo kundi manual.
Napakarami niyan sa Internet. Just Google "list of linux commands" and you will find tons of articles for that. Mahirap gumawa ng tutorial dito...in fact I don't think a tutorial is practical and applicable. Manual talaga ang kailangan mo rito. But my advice to you is to just start using Linux and just ask questions here as you encounter concerns. Kung ang magiging approach mo is to read each and every command, eh matatagalan ka dahil sobrang dami nun.

Laptop ba ang gamit mo? Ano ang specs? Also, check kung ang sinaksakan mong USB port ay yung main port (kumbaga sa desktop PC dapat sa likod na ports, wag yung mga ports sa harap). Mahina kasi ang power na naka-supply pag sa extension ports lang and hindi sa main, so medyo mabagal. Also you might want to research on the read/write speed of your USB Flash Drive. Factor din yun. Kaya kund hindi ninyo napapansin, may mga USB Flash Drives na mura at may mahal, kahit na pareho sila ng capacity (for example, may 8GB na less than PHP1,000 at may 8GB na mas mahal sa PHP1,000). Bukod sa brand, ang nagpapamahal nun is yung data transfer speed.

Exactly my point.
Mahirap kaya gumawa ng tutorial for 1000+ commands. 
Ano ba ang ibig mong sabihin na gusto mo ng "simple tutorial" for Linux commands? In my opinion, wala nang mas sisimple pa sa manual mismo kung commands ang pinag-uusapan. Like what I said, hindi practical gawan ng tutorial ang commands. By the way, sa work ko madalas akong gumamit ng MS Excel...alam natin na marami din siyang commands. And based on my experience (with the same logic na commands ang usapan), ang tanging paraan lang na matutunan ang mga yan is to actually try those commands. You don't need to memorize all existing commands to learn them, because you will get to learn them when you come across them, or when you will need them.

oo alam ko po ung Nokia n9 ksi nghahanap din ako ng CP na build in LINUX OS, pro sa Android nlng po ako kuya ksi mron ksi cla gnawa na Script Layer for Android ma-ra-run ung Python ko dun dahil sa SL4A, ng-aaral ako ngaun ng Python at nghahanap din ako ng group pra mkpag-brain storming at matuto ng mdami, kya mag Linux ako dahil sa mga Command nya na gus2 ko pg-aralin ^_^

ubuntu 10.10 po ung gamit ko.. gumgamit lng ako ng internet the last time i used it. In addition, di ko ininstall ung ati driver kasi last time na ininstall ko nagloko din ubuntu..
pa help nmn po. I tried na ung startx command pero ala lumalabas na gui.. mouse lng and backgound...

Kuya Jam, pwede po ba ako makahingi ng config mo, yung complete po. Consisting of ovpn file, ssl folder pati na rin yung authnetication kung meron. Try ko po sa commandline.

Hi Friend,
Are you starting Ubuntu 10.10 in "Netbook Edition" or Netbook Mode? Usually the solution is by starting it first in "Desktop Edition" or Desktop Mode. Ganun talaga ang Ubuntu 10.10 kasi for a new installation, hindi pa naka-install ang proprietary drivers ng video card mo. The solution is to just click on OK muna when you see that notification. And then log off. And then before logging in again, make sure to choose "Desktop Edition". The selection is found at the bottom bar of the screen. Anyway...
1. Puwede pahingi ng screenshot ng error?
2. Please start up the Terminal and type the command "lspci" and then copy-paste the results here.

Hi Friend,
Just wanted to ask:
1. Are you intending to do webchat?
2. What application are you trying to use?
3. What IM protocol are you trying to use (MSN? Yahoo? etc.)?
Just like to note that there are some IM protocols that are not yet supported for video calling, say for Empathy as an example.
