Friends,

Sorry I have been out of action nitong mga nakaraang buwan. May pinagdadaanan lang. I have a step-daughter kasi and I am planning to adopt her.

Matagal ko na siyang step-daughter, mula pa noong nagpakasal ako in 2006. Napamahal na siya sa akin and tinuturing ko na siyang tunay kong anak kaya gusto ko na sanang ampunin para official na.

Yup. www.pendrivelinux.com. Hanapin ang YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Installer). Yan ang gamit ko rin. Yun nga lang, pag gagawa or mag-add ka ng mga OS sa iisang USB stick gamit ang YUMI, sa MS Windows ito ginagawa.

Sa WINE po yan. Install lang ang "Winetricks" para mas madali. May option dun to install some MS Windows components, like DirectX. Nakakapaglaro ako ng Sims 3 sa Linux (para sa misis ko at sa mga anak ko).

ts help po sa pag install ng ubuntu desktop 14
ganito po partition ko
100mb windows loader
100gb windows 7
100gb apps
100gb ubuntu
100mb grub2
4gb swap
624gb apps

pag install kopo may 3 options:
1.install Ubuntu alongside your existing OS.
2.replace your Windows installation with Ubuntu, allowing the installer to format your current partitions and automatically create new ones for Linux.
3.something else

pinili kopo something else tapos pag click kopo ng install now ayaw po mag tuloy
may lumalabas na root ewan kopo basta may lumalabas
nichange kona po sa ext4 yung ubuntu drive at grub2,
yung device for boot loader installation po pinili ko yung grub2 100mb

ok na po, kelangan pala repartition, delete then ad ginawa ko

Trusty Thar 14.04 LTS release, latest po ito so dapat detected na siya.
Nasubukan mo na ba yung usb-modeswitch.

Gather muna tayo ng info:
1. Una i-run mo yung command sa baba

Code:

tail -f /var/log/syslog

2. I plug niyo po yung broadband o dongle
3. Dapat po may makita makita kayong changes sa last command niyo. Pa-post na lang po dito.
4. Press CTRL+C [Control C] to terminate yung last command natin.
5. Tapos pa post na rin po ng output ng command sa baba.

Code:

lsusb

Ano yung mga pinapa type ko na command? Don't worry safe po yang mga yan.
Code 1: Monitor natin yung last line ng file na syslog, dito kasi nag re register yung mga system log.
Code 5: Display natin lahat ng usb peripherals kasama ng kanilang respective Vendor ID at Product ID

Kung hindi ako nagkakamali tini-treat niya as cdrom yung isang partition ng broadband kung saan nakalagay
yung mga installer o program files para sa Windows ie: [Dashboard].

meron pano po mag lipat ng files (EXPORTED FROM MS OUTLOOK)
and
Import it on Any Application in UBUNTU (ano po bang application yung may EMAIL service ditu? and how to install?)

Please Help me... mejo nalipat na po kasi ako eh.. hehe

Meron po, Mozilla Thunderbird (email app po siya). Marami pong articles sa Internet kung paano gawin ito. Here's a list (Google Search): https://www.google.com.ph/search?q=move+outlook+pst+to+ubuntu&oq=move+outlook+pst+to+ubuntu&aqs=chrome..69i57.4303j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8.

...pero based on personal experience (early warning ko na rin). Make sure hindi na kayo babalik sa paggamit ng .pst files ng MS Outlook.

Kung ang work ninyo ay dependent pa rin sa MS Office, I suggest wag na po.

Mag-dual boot na lang kayo with MS Windows.

mga sir pa help nmn po kung tanong ko lang po kasi kahit saan2x na ako naghahanap ng tutorial sa paggawa ng tamang crunch po sa kali linux newbie lang po kasi ako nito pano po ba gumawa ng tamang crunch? kasi ang nalaman ko lang eh ganito (crunch 1 4 abcd123 -o /root/Desktop/wordlist.txt) pero ang nasasave niya a-d lang ata at 1-3 parang tingin ko hindi po kompleto eh kasi kapag gignagamit ko siya sa command ay error nmn paano ba gumawa ng complete wordlist po help nmn kung pano ang command thnx po

newbie here, ask ko lang po kung pwede ba 256 lang ang ram?
ano po ang version na pwede kung ma install? totally walang alam po ako sa linux os
try ko sana sa old pc ko

wala akong makitang dl link ng linux os sa 1st page, paki advice na lang po kung anong
version ang pwede jan sa specs ko at pakibigay na lang din ng link...salamat po sa totulong.

try mo mag search tungkol sa crunchbang at lubuntu punkz.. yan ang alam kong iilan sa mga linux flavors na ppwede sa mga low end na mga hardwares...
