In my case, there was an improvement of a few kB/s both on a 512kbps and a 2mbps wimax connection, downloading a 1.6GB torrent file.

In the 512 connection, the maximum average DL speed that the tweak gave was 80kB/s versus 50kB/s usual DL rate.
In the 2Mb connection, it was 270kB/s versus 200kB/s give or take a few.

The change wasn't as drastic as I had expected but it did trim down the download time by 20-30 minutes.

Maybe it was the size of the file because in my other (regular, IDM, non-uTorrent) downloads, I could get up to 400++ kB/s on the 2mb connection. I don't use the 512 for downloading. It's just plain idiotic to do so.

Anyways, that's my observation. This was a helpful share. Of the three tweaks that I've tried, this one produced the best results so far.

Thanks for the share, TS :)
