Peeps!
Kapag hindi working sa devices natin, that simply means it's either na-patch na ung vulnerability sa devices natin (which is a good thing) or wala pang exploit para sa kanila.
Since wala naman ill-effects kung mag fail ang rooting process na ito, subukan na lang natin kung gagana sa atin, then report sa thread kung working or not. That way, malalaman din ng ibang may katulad na phones kung working ba ito o hindi (although kahit same phones shempre di naman ibig sabihin automatically same results).
Just keep in mind, this is based on exploits. Kung walang butas na maeexploit sa phone nyo, di ito gagana. Marami ako nakita nagtatanong kung gagana sa CM, Alcatel.. Di ako sigurado, pero those are MediaTek devices. Sa Framaroot, meron exploit for MediaTek devices.. ung Boromir. You can try rooting gamit ung Boromir na exploit. Then report back here kung gumana ba or hindi.
I think the original thread by alephzain has been posted naman, check niyo na lang un. Hindi complete at updated ang list of compatible devices dun, pero there's no hurt in trying. Again, wala naman known na side effects kapag mag fail man ung process.
If rooting would turn out to be successful, maraming apps to check that. You can run the Root Checker app from the Play Store. Also, you can try downloading and opening a root app. Kung magrequest ng superuser access, and mag run naman ng okay, I guess you're good to go.
As stated, Framaroot is NOT A PERMANENT ROOT SOLUTION. Ibig sabihin, habang napapatch ang holes (by the manufacturers), hindi na gagana yung apk.
