Sorry for you but it works very well for me. Just follow carefully the steps and I assumed you upgrade exactly the same model and version...

when was the last time you did an OTU, with your downloaded folder? if you explore the threads, you'll find out that it's not just me.

3 hrs ago and it takes only 15 min to upgrade. assuming there is no newer version It will work..

well just follow the procedure carefully. search the tread so you will not be lost. thanks to charlie31985 for the comprehensive tutorial regarding downgrading ver 2.3.6 to ver 2.3.5 by marcorennes, which I shared it in the earlier thread. learn how OTU works so you can get around with it. lying was uncalled for.

I will soon post a tutorial on how to get back from ver 2.3.5 to ver 2.3.6 without using OTU. However, nandroid backup of 2.3.6 is required. For 2.3.6 users, make a nandroid backup.

Mga sir dun po sa mga nakapagpagana ng tutorial sa pag downgrade na alcatel glory 918 2.3.6 kindly post it here and your success experience since marami pong naghahanap nyan dahil sa 2.3.5 palang ang may fully compatible custom rom

eto po simple tutorial pasensya na first time ko po kasi
if first time mo please proceed ka muna dito andito nadin yung flash tool na gagamitin give thanks to sir bluerain http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=736020 since baka di mo sya mapagana agad kasi need po maload sa pc yung driver para madetect si alcatel kahit patay
or pede din using OTU install mo muna sa pc mo then follow the instruction until ma detect po yung Cellphone nyo then you can cancel na it means naka install na driver ng alcatel mo buti nalang nakapagdownload nako before ng OTU 1.8.2 kasi 1.8.3 na available weh pero tingin ko pede din siguro kahit 1.8.3 pero para mas safe install nyo nalang yung 1.8.2

then proceed na dito

1. download nyo po yung 2.3.5_europe.zip sa baba then extract sa desktop nyo

2. open nyo po yung flash_tool nyo

click nyo po yung naka high light scatter-loading

browse sa extracted file nyo 2.3.5_europe the the select yung naka-highlight na file then clik open

now click option then check usb mode then check back-up>>format>>download>>restore nvram see attach picture

dapat nakacheck yung 3 sa taas pero in my experience automatic naman naka check kung sakali lang hinde
then yan po lilitaw ok na po yan now just click download yung naka-highlight then connect your phone wait till its end
DO an OTU after this use the attach link above

GUYS PROCCED PO MUNA TAYO SA UNANG STEPS YANG NASA TAAS SINCE DYAN PALANG MAY NAKGAWA NG MAAYOS NA DOWNGRADE. IGNORE PO MUNA TONG SUMUNOD IAUP-DATE KO NALANG PO ITO KUNG MAY NAKAPAGPAGANA NA NUNG FAST WAY W/O USING OTU. BUT NOW MAGTYAGA MUNA SA PROCEDURE SA TAAS

ok guys eto na yung hinihintay nyong update

the fastest way kakagawa ko lang now eto po..
after nyo maflash yung file sa 2.3.5 europe.zip proceed to this step no need to do OTU uncheck nyo po yung back-up and restore sa sp flash tools.
1. download nyo yung dump rom ni sir bazte tapos kunin nyo lahat ng image file maliban sa preloader, pro_info at dsp_bl at ipaste nyo po sa folder ng 2.3.5 europe. "yung recovery gamitin nyo yung kay sir blue rain iba yung recovery ni sir baste htc logo"
2. now iflash nyo po isa isa lang ok, nagtry ako sabay sabay kaso ayaw sakin so iflash nyo isa isa mas madali.
apat lang po yung ipaflash nyo Uboot, bootimg, recovery and logo ok. no nid sa sytem at data since di ka naman magstuck sa stock rom or kung gusto mo ng stock rom try sir bluerain stock rom flashable din po yun.
3. after maflash yung apat you can now proceed to flash the custom rom ex. gingerblaze1.2 pano guys goodluck to all.

thanks po! mangiyak ngiyak na ko kagabi nung iflaflash ko na yung apat na img eh nag error. di daw ma detect yung usb.. i tried OTU pero 1 hour na lumipas kahit 1% walang lumabas.. 4 times na kong nag attemp mag flash & OTU. ganon parin.. tinangal ko nalang yung battery & tried to flash it again.. buti nalang gumana na! hehe.. I'm using gingerblaze po sa ngayon.. salamat po ulit! God bless..

try nyo ung no OTU method ok dapat yan

additional infos sa tutorial ni TS para sure pagdowngrade nyo

tama sabi ni TS na flash the uboot,boot,recovery,logo ng isa isa. I suggest flash the phone without the battery cover using this order

-flash europe.zip > flash ok? > disconnect usb sa phone > remove battery then insert it back

-browse uboot.img > click download > plug usb > flash ok? > unplug usb sa phone > remove battery then insert it back

-browse boot.img > click download > plug usb > flash ok? > unplug usb sa phone > remove battery then insert it back

-do the rest sa remaining .img na sinabi ni TS

- after that enter custom recovery at wipe mo mga dapat i-wipe at install mo na custom rom for 2.3.5 na napili mo.

Pag ka flash nung europe.zip > close sp tool > Unplug usb sa phone > remove battery at insert mo ulit > open sptool > uncheck backup nvram > browse for the images sa tutorial ni ts > click download > plug usb sa phone > flash ok! No need na ng scatterfile

pls read the first post andun po yung step by step kung pano yung susunod na gagawwin or you can go for OTU. about sd card partitioning it depends po sa rom na ipaflash mo goodluck.

what driver ng phone po ba nid mo since kung nagawa mo na nuon mag install ng CWM andyan padin po driver mo sa pc detected padin po yan

ay mali pala. i mean is gusto ko po sya irestore factory settings. para bumalik ulit sa stock kasi naging sluggish na yung phone ko kakaflash paulit ulit ng yonip v1.2 dahil sa kung anong anong error ang lumalabas. gusto ko po ulit clean install. paano po ba gagawin ko? nagawa ko na ang 3 wipes. format ko na din yung system ko bago mag flash pero naging lagger pa din.

btw kaya po ako nag reflash kasi nagpalit ako ng memory card na 16gig class 4.

aha stock rom po ba na pang 2.3.5 meron po kay sir bluerain flashable din po sya. kung pang 2.3.6 ibig sabihin babalik ka up to now di ko pa nagagawa since wala akong makuhang working na preloader file. try mo iflash mo si Gingerblaze yun snappy talaga pag laggy sayo yan alisin mo muna memory card mo bka dun problema dont worry sir mas marming beses ako sayo nag reflash di ko na mabilang full charge ako hanggang sa malowbat kapapatay sindi. may ineexperiment kasi ako pero same padin performance ng phone ko.

yup alam ko yan hehe try mo select clear flash magrereboot yan. na try mo na ba gingerblaze try mo muna kahit ako yan gamit ko now 110mb free memory mo super snappy po sya. i have 8gb sd card 2nd partition is 2gb nabili ko sa welcom kingcom lang tatak ok naman sya. or kung gusto mo ng super stock try to OTU. yan sigurado balik lahat yan sa normal.
