yess.. after ng sangkatutak kong pagppahirap sa alcatel q..
from 2.3.6, ngng 2.3.5 n rn xa @ open n dn slot1 nia

by the way po ndi gumanxa sken ung OTU 1.8.2 kht 3x q n xang paulet-ulet n gnmet ndi prn ngopen ung cpq..

so inulet q ung steps s 1st page tpoz cnubukan kong gmtn ung OTU 2.7.0
aun "BOOMMM" 2.3.5 n cp q

wag matakot "MGXPLORE" guys try en try lng ska onting experiment nrn...:)

Ive tried everything possible to follow the instruction but my phone wont accept the 2.3.5 downgrade I got Alcatel OT 918N from SUN, but its totally dead now cause maybe I flash the wrong preloader, now it wont turn on, ive tried the OTU but it says I got the LATEST UPDATE, now I've tried the downgrade 2.3.5 Europe but I got this error from SP Flash Tool;

BROM ERROR : S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (5054)
[EMI] OBTAIN DRAM FAILED
[HINT]
PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOAD MATCHESTO THE TARGET WHICH IS TO BE DOWNLOADED

What happened then and what should I do, it takes 2 weeks for me to do any tricks but unfortunately found nothing happens...
help!!!:weep:

I am using the following files for flash
2.3.5 easyway files
2.3.5 Gingerbread
2.3.5 Europe
Alcatel 918 Mix 2.3.6 Files
2.3.6
Gingerbread 2.36

but none are successfull! I need your brains badly! thanks

u mean hindi nag error and SP Flash tool sayo? gamit mo ba 2.3.5 Europe? hayz... talga naman.. sakin sangkatutak na Preloader at DSPL gamit ko.. puro BROM Error abot ko!@

yup sir gmet q ung 2.3.5 europe..
gnito kz nangyareh sken,,

nung una gnawa q ung nsa 1st page kaso failed ako.. knbahan n ako kasi ndi na nag-on ung cp q, ndi dn xa maread S OTU
ang ginwa q naghanap ako ng Dump files ng 2.3.6 para mbalik ko sya sa dati.. nilagay ko sya sa fone ko using the sp flash tool.. then afterwards ginawa ko ulet ung tut s 1st page kaso hindi parin successful
bali 2x ko nga sya inulet kz nga dead parin si fone after q gmtin z 2.3.5 europe..(kabado n ako nun,bka sira na si alcatel ko)
s 3rd try q ngng successful aq.. downgrade n fone ko from 2.3.6. now 2.3.5 n sya..

nga pla after q gmtin ung 2.3.5 europe knabukasan q n xa inupdate using 2.7.0.. sumaket n kz ulo ko dat day ska bka macra ng ng tuluyan.. pero knbukasan after updating .. ayun downgrade n xa.. nakakafullfill kz prang ang galing ko.. toinkz

sir ntry mu n po ba gamitin un dump files ng 2.3.6 using sp flash tool sa fone nio? kasi un lang ung ginmet ko nung hindi nagoopen si alcatel

San pong DUMP FILES NG 2.3.6? wala na kasi akong mahanap na mga files ng 2.3.6 maliban don sa post ni kippsoft ng XDA

Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko, kasi ang hirap pala pag walang fon... its been 3 weeks na akong naghalungkat sa lahat ng thread but unsuccessful til now... please help me with those files. TY:weep:

BTW, SP FLASH TOOL LANG GUMAGANA SA PHONE KO

sa lahat po ng nagkakaproblema at di na masolusyonan kung galing sun yan balik nyo lang sa sun matagal man pero magagawa yan pasensya na kayo la na kasi akong gantong unit. after flashing the europe file automatic dead ang unit nyo so kung nagawa nyo to ng tama at walang mali or error proceed na po kayo sa OTU harder way or flash the other file posted sa first page easy way. stated naman sa una ang nagkakaproble ma is yung mga unit na latest release yung sakin kasi around august 2012 yung mga unit na latest yung enable na yung blinking led. kaya sinabi ko before kayo magdowngrade mag otu muna kayo para ma check kung walang error like in latest sofware na. para makabalik kayo incase may problema given yung link sa xda dito yung files for 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 working yan di ko na mabilang kung ilan beses ako ngdowngrade at upgrade before pero ok naman. minsan di nga madetect pero kulitan lang. ginagawa ko nakasaksak na si phone sa pc ng walang battery then saka ko ikakabit "otu or flash tool" ganyan ginagawa ko pag di madetect agad yung unit ko.. pasensya na po di kasi ako nakahawak ng new release so kung anung problem lang yung naexperience ko yung lang ang kaya kong tulungan other than that yung ibang success sa pag downgrade ang makakatulong sa inyo. kung di talaga kaya service center nalang po..
 
pa tulong namn po mga ser.. sa device driver for alcatel 918n.. d ako mka pag upgrade,,, d ko ma rooot... pero nakakapag transfer po aq nmn ng file using usb.. gs2 q talaga to ma root... ang dami q nang sinubukan na ibang png root... pero epic failed.. at failed to install device driver... win 7 po gamit ko.. sana matulongan nyu aq.. mga links dn dead na rin so thankshindi talaga ako makapag driver install... at sinubukan ko na rin mag install ng one touch upgrade sabi nila automatic na yun mag install ng driver pero d na iinstall po eh.. :help: :weep: :upset:
 
hello po..ayw mag boot or sa recovery ng phone ko try ko sa otu pero latest na daw ang update ko patulong nmam oh..pano mgrestore gamit ang flashtool? pls help,, thnx:pray:
 
sir, ang sakin nman succed yung pagbalik ko frm 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 pero ng gumamit ako ng otu latest na daw ang upgrade ko.. pano ba po to?pede ba mgrestore gamit ang flashtool?salamat po..:pray:
 
Hey guys i have an issue with rooting my alcatel ot 918N.

i cannot install specific drive that i need... i search for it and end up nothing....

when i lookup the info on my phone i got

model nr alcatel one touch 918n
android version 2.3.5
build number V23AAM0

When i use MTK droid root i get completely different info

Hardware : 3+0 re (MT6573 is Fake!)
Model : ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 918N
Build number : ALPS.GB.JRD2.SP.V1.22
Build date UTC : 20120221-141540
Android v : 2.3.5

Try to use this to view your installed USB Drivers for Mobile Phone.

Kung nakita mo ang driver ng phone mo try to UNINSTALL by rightclicking the file and select UNINSTALL DRIVER.

Then, try to reinstall your drivers using the MT65XX3 PRELOAD (download below) or the MT65XX3 USB VCOM DRIVER.

ang pagkaka alam ko latest na yong 2.3.6 Gingerbread sa OT 918N unless 2.3.5 pa yan...:dance:
 
yun nga sir eh.. ayaw na mgboot kahit sa cwm pa.. use ko ang otu kaso ang sabi latest na daw ang upgrde ko 2.8.0 pano ko kaya mapapagana to ulit? sana my makatulong,pls.
2.3.6 to dn try no na magdowngrade tapos okay naman sa pagbalik nga lang okay ang flashing but then di na ako mkapagOtU..:weep::pray:

try otu 1.8.2 version baka ito gumagana sa phone mo! download mo nalang--i google search mo.. ayaw ma atach d2. sometimes kasi sabi nila d daw gumagana 2.8.0 sa update nila.

sir napagana ko na ang otu pero balik muna ako sa 2.3.5, do the flashing procedure and now upgrading na..:yipee:
pero gusto ko sana balik sa 2.3.6

--qng ung unit mu is same sken na 2.3.6 na galing sa sun,ung may name po na ganito ung idl mu dun xa website ng xda,,
---> Alcatel 918 N 2.3.6 Files.rar
follow mu lng po ung instruction na makikita mu dun
pgkatpos nian tanggalin mu muna ung batt mu kht 5 mins, den try mu na po gumamet ng OTU, try mu muna ung 1.8.2 pg ayaw ung otu ver. 2.7.0 ung gmtin mu

anu po ver ng spt mu?

LAHAT NA NG FILES FROM XDA na download ko na sa PC ko but my problem pag SP Flash ko un nga nag BROM ERROR (5054). lahat ng mention ko na files galing sa forum ng symbianize.com at XDA but same problem over and over again. I almost give up...minsan nag papahinga lng ko from thinking over and over. if only i could understand this problem:

am using SP_Flash_Tool_v2.1134.00 & flash tool v 3.1222.00 these two found same problem over my phone. what do u think why i got some errors? :pray::help:
