Hi guys, meron na dito nakapag take ng TESDA exam ng VGD NC III?
Mga magkano po yung pag take ng exam at anung covered ng examination po. Sana may makatulong man lang, balak ko kasi amg take ng exam since may experience na ako about graphic design.

The Visual Graphics NC III National Assessment covers the following competency:
-Develop design studies
-Create vector graphics using a graphics application
-Create raster graphics using a graphics application
-Develop designs for print media
-Develop designs for electronic media
-Develop designs for product packaging
-Design booth and product/window display

2 Days ang assessment:
Day 1: Create ng Logo (Vector) and Develop designs for print media (Poster/Brochure)
Day 2: - Develop designs for electronic media (Gawa ng Website with 2 pages (Home, Product page) with working link)
- Develop designs for product packaging (gawa ng packaging box, with measurement and 2D Package)
- Develop ng Booth for Product/Window Display (Indoor or Outdoor) - 2D

Skills needed: PhotoShop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Dreamweaver, Google Sketch-up
May roon pang interview.. if you passed all for competencies, bibigyan ka ng National Certificate Level III for VG but if not, bibigyan ka ng Certificate of Competency kung ano lng ang nakitang competency ng Assessor.

hello... matagal na akong graphic artist pero nagulat ako sa thread natoh' na meron palang ganyang NC3 na pang graphic artist.... pakisagot naman po kc kursunada ko kumuha nyan...
1. saan ba magagamit ang NC3 na yan (local/abroad)? required ba talaga yan... kc sa ibang company eh madalas eh qualification eh gradweyt ng Fine Arts para pumasa sa Graphic artist na position... pagka meron bang NC3 eh parang level mo narin ba ang fine arts na grad?

2. saan nag-bibigay ng assessment pati petsa, saka magkano magagastos?

3. may graphic arts na course sa TESDA? anong branch?

thanks in advance sa makakasagot... alam ko madaming already working na graphic artist ang interesado dyan.. malamang hindi di nila alam na may ganyan

1. Ang national certificate ay recognized worldwide. Kung minsan mas tinatanggap pa ito kesa sa undergrad diploma.
2. Ang nagbibigay ng assessment ay ang mga partner schools ng TESDA kung saan may assessor ang napili mong competency. Magtanong ka sa tesda branch sa inyo.
3. Merong Visual Graphics NCIII, magtanong ka sa tesda kung may available scholarship sa course na to para hindi ka na magbayad.

I've got the chance to take VGD NCIII last July 2015 at Pangasinan, somewhere in Alaminos City.
Some of the tasks are:
* You are required to produce raster and vector images, brochures, flash animations, 3d mock-ups of a product, etc. using Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, Adobe Flash
* 3D establishments at three perspectives. You can use 3d applications such as AutoCad, Sketch Up, ect.

nakaka kuha ba nito kahit walang knowledge sa VGD?

I already passed Visual Graphics Design NC III last May this year. Madali lang naman kung knowledgeable ka sa Photoshop, Illustrator and any other photo editing tools. Ang importante lang sa assessor is may output ka. Kahit pangit nga OK lang e, mga kasabayan ko hindi graphic artists pero atleast nakagawa ng output and pumasa. Yung isa nga doon, MS Paint ang ginamit.


Ito pinagawa sa amin.

1. LOGO Making (Logo ng android game yung pinagawa sa amin, "Crazy Bird" daw yung name nung game.
2. Create Brochure (Ilalagay mo sa brochure yung ginawa mong logo and iaadvertise mo yung game mo dun sa brochure)
3. Kiosk (Gagawa ka ng design ng tindahan kasama yung logo na ginawa mo)
4. Video Advertisement (Gagawa ka ng sort of commercial kasama yung logo na ginawa mo. Parang hihikayatin mong i-download ng users yung game mo)
