BROWNOUTS OR ANY POWER INTERRUPTIONS MAY CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE!

Make sure no simcard is inserted in the dongle.
Plug it into the back of PC! As usb hubs and front ports can sometimes cause issues.

If not already done so allow modem to install drivers.
Let XP say “Device is installed & ready for use” Go to Start\Control Panel\System\Device Manager\ Make sure dongle is installed with drivers.

Unzip file called “ZTE.zip”
Run Flash Updater, when it has found device the download button will become active. Click Download and leave it to flash, Mine took 18 minutes.

Do not unplug or use PC or you may break your dongle!
When it has finished it will tell you!

smartbro current version:BD_3GHAP673A4V1.0.1B02
to be replaced with new version:BD_P673M3V1.0.1B02

PRESS DOWNLOAD BUTTON:

backup NV ID

restoring nv items id

flash completed

Unplug it & put in SIM of your choice.

GLOBE VISIBILITY NA ANG INTERFACE MO!

To use your openline modem, make a new profile:

If you don't like to use the Globe software for going to the internet
with Smart or any other provider after overwriting the flash memory,
why don't you use the Telstra software from ZTE Australia:

sa windows 7 ultimate gagana sya pag install using program compatibility mode pero kapag sa home premium ayaw walang signal need pa ata ng driver.

pakidownload na lang po....paki copy dun sa smartbro nyu using QPST sana makatulong

sir, bago ko nakita thread nyo, nauna ko po ginawa yung sa tip ni sir koelo, yung pagreplace muna ng files ng zte upgrade tool sa globe visibility tapos saka palang iclick yung download. kaso di ko niremove yung sim kase wla naman sinabe. ang nangyare globe visibility na nga sya kaso ndi naman na unlock..
pag naginsert ng ibang sim ganun parin, ayaw prin. mf626 po yung aken.
pahelp nga po.. pwede ba ulitin yung process?? thanks in advance

WOOOOT!! ako din successful ang unlocking with my zte mf626 (smartbro dark knight lmtd edtn).. it took 21 minutes. yaaay!! vista os ko. tried and tested working siya for smart & globe (ang lakas pa ng 3G signal).. gunna try Sun kapag makabili nako ng sim. THANKS OTOR!!!

Brod pano ito ginagawa patulong naman, ZTE MF626 ang modem ko, gusto ko sanang i-unlock nasa smart sya para magamit ko rin sa globe.Thanks

ginawa ko...

*partial run update then delete all files sa C:\Programs...\MF1000newversion
*copy the kOeLo_tOpsykRet19th jan na directory.
*then proceed sa DOWNLOAD
*SUCCESS update
*unplug replug ->change dashboard using QPST
*unplug->insert globe sim -> replug
*globe detected na pro 3.6mbps nga lang...

mga sirs at TS, pede po bng gamitin kong updater ng firmware ay sa sun? kc wala na akong kakilala na nka XP eh kaya laging failed un update kpag gamit un globe... and un dating zte mf627 ko na galing sa sun ay un din ang ginamit kong updater before ko sya ginawang openline...
