Dear Fellow Engineers,
Greetings!
The CPE Credit Units on Accredited Program, Activity or Source, will be effective on October 1, 2011; therefore, the earning of credit unit ( 1-credit hour = 1-credit unit ) will start as follows:

October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013 ------- 20 - credit units
October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014 ------- 20 -credit units
Total for 3-years ---------------------------------------- 60- credit units - are required for renewal of PRC ID/License for baccalaureate degree. For non-baccalaureate degree (CPM), 30-credit units are required for 3-years or 10-credit units per year. Any excess credit units earned shall not be carried over to the next 3-year period except for doctoral and masteral degree or for other special training.
The above cycle will be repeated every 3-years to coincide with the renewal of PRC ID/License.
For the upcoming PSME 59th National Convention on October 25-28, 2011 at SMX Convention Center, PSME National will be the CPE Provider. A total of 20-credit units or 20-credit hours will be given to participants who will register and pay the Convention fees and must register at all plenary sessions and technical paper presentations. Certificate of Attendance will be issued by PSME National.

Summary: hindi ka mkkpag renew ng license without taking up the units required, sana PME nlang at hindi na sinali ang RME at CPM. Imagine, sa lahat ng engineers, RME LANG ANG WALANG KARAPATAN PUMIRMA (extra income un syempre) SA MGA DESIGN/DRAWING PLANS.
REE - pwede pumirma ng residential plans
RCE - pwede pumirma ng civil/structural palns
RME - pwede pumirma ng ???? wala, walang pwedeng pirmahan dahil PME lng ang pwede pumirma.
para po sa kaalaman ng lahat, malaking tulong ung pagpirma na yun dahil extra income yun. tapos ngayon may pakulo pa sila na dapat a-attend ng convention which costs not less Php4000??
kasi last year Php4500 ang reg'n fee sa lahat ng activity..
Sa totoo lang , dalawa lisensya ko. RME at RMP (master plumber).
nakaka-Php60,000++ na ako sa mga napirmahan kong sanitary and plumbing permit, sa RME wala. nkkalungkot talaga.
