if you are using multiMAN as your BM (backup manager), try the following:

1. install BDEMU package file (can be found on this thread)
2. in multiMAN, highlight the game and press R1 to set/fix file permissions
3. place an original BD game inside the blu-ray drive (any game will do)
4. update the game using PS3 Game List or PS3 Game Updater (requires computer and internet connection)
5. delete any GAME DATA related to COD Black Ops and/or Killzone
6. if played on external, press Select + X to lauch the game (ensure a BD game is inside the blu-ray drive)

post your feedback after you've tried the abovementioned remedies.

you cant install any later version fw diyan kahit palitan mo pa nang HDD yan... dahil naka set sa CORE_OS yung limitation niyan... panalangin na lang natin na gawan nang paraan ni graf_chocolo yung Hypervisor diyan or any hackers na knowledgeable about that.

yes you can install new fresh fw basta swap mo lang yung HDD or initialize mo sa PC.. pero... to make it clear guys... yung pinka important sa lahat na nag se-set nang limitation sa PS3 is yung "CORE_OS" which is hindi mawawala yan kahit tangalin natin yung HDD.. dahil nasa NOR/NAND memory yan... hinding hindi mawawala yan... nandiyan kasi naka set yung mga restriction.. isa na dun yung hindi pwede mag install nang older versions nang fw.

and there's a way to downgrade or reflash FW on 3.56 or later fw.. yung nga lang gagamit na kayo nang infectus modchip.

yan bang copy ng CoD Black Ops mo, na-copy mo from original BD game or downloaded lang yan from the internet? kung downloaded from the net, baka may problem yung copy ng game na na-download mo.

kung torrent yan, nabasa mo ba yung comments bago mo dinownload? tiyak may makikita ka dun na details kung napagana ba nung iba ng naka-download o hindi. try mo balikan yung torrent site na napagkuhanan mo.

anyway, subukan mo sa kaibigan o kakilala mong may PS3 na na-JB din. kung gumana sa kanya, may mali lang talaga sa pagka-backup mo nung game sa PS3 mo.

mga sir.. i tried using PS3 Game List v1.4, nagdownload sya updates.. question po.. pano ko po install ung updates given na nasa external HDD ung mga games ko? ililipat ko ba sila sa flash drive tpos install tapos automatic na madedetect po un na updated na ung game kahit na nasa external HDD ung game?

simple... see that Install Package Option on your XMB (Game Menu), use that option to install .pkg files. And the pkg files should be placed under root drive of your USB Storage Device. Options to install pkg files using internal HDD is only possible if you use REBUG Package Option installer.

kaya kasi naging possible to downgrade with infectus.. because meron na po itong signed CORE_OS with lower version... (3.50 afaik) so pwede mong paglaruan yan... and by default naka service mode siya.

tried to format my internal 160gb of hard drive to my windows pc.

now i got a loop installation of 3.55ofw or 3.55kmeaw..
lagi na lang 99% tapos di pag nag failed ganun ulit iinstall ko ulit tapos paulit ulit na ganito..
di na ako makapunta sa XMB ng ps3..

i desperately need help.. hindi na po ako makatulog sa nangyayari sa console..
depressed na po ako sa pinag hirapan kong pera na ngayon eh hindi ko na magamit..

also tried ALL the recovery menu.
restore file
rebuild database
restore settings/format

and last yung update ng ng firmware na hindi natatapos dahil laging 99% yung OFW and Kmeaw na iniinstall ko..
also tried to put the firmware to different USB.
1.generic
2.kingston
3.seagate go flex 500gb kasama ng mga games ko...

then update ko ulit sa 3.55kmeaw pagtapos ko ma-install ng 3.41??

thanks sir.. what do you mean "Options to install pkg files using internal HDD"? ako kasi i run my games off external HDD so di ako nagiinstall ng games sa internal, is it still possible to update them kahit na sa external sila nakastore?

guys me naka experience na ba sa inyo dito ng ganito "the game data is corrupted please exit to the xmb and delete the game data",, bale resident evil gold edition yung nilalaro ko siguro nasa kalagitnaan na ako ng laro sabay biglang nag blank tapus yan ang lumabas

Is it safe to change the internal hard drive of my PS3 from 80 GB to 1 TB/2 TB? Puro kasi NTFS yung external ko and puro may laman kay ayaw ko ng iformat pa. Fat PS3 yung sakin. Safe ba siya? And how much yung aabutin?
