Kailangan CWM gagamitin. Testing it now..

Pwede siya sa stock ROMs

EDIT: di ko mapagana. Hanapan ko ng workaround. :(

ah ok... hindi ba namimili yan ng unit..? baka kelangan pang iport yan para sa unit natin..? o lahat ng GB pwede..? ayos yan pag nagkataon...

hindi ako sanay ng CWM recovery. ahaha!

Hindi naman, actually as of the writing, naflash ko na siya. Nabasa ng CWM at ayun, oks na. Magpopost ako ng tut bukas.

Eto lang masasabi ko: pumutok mukha ko sa sarap at hapdi ng bass sakin! Using Beats Tour OEM. :D

BEATS AUDIO for those who have problem in flashing via CWM.

For those who flashed via CWM, please check if the files are pushed in their respective locations and check if permissions are set correctly.

Tested on Gingerbread Rom, stock and custom.

Want beats audio on your Droid? Are you on stock or Custom Rom?
Do you have a keen ear for sounds? This will definitely make all audiophiles happy.

I do not take credit for the files uploaded here, they are stripped from HTC's system.

Q. Is it legal?
A. Well, I am not a lawyer nor the one who ripped it. So don't ask me.

Q. Does it work?
A. Well yes and no. Yes, if you follow the directions properly. No, if your not that keen in noticing differences between sounds and to lazy to read on, disregarding correct procedures. Wah!

Q. I don't Have Beats Headset. Will I still be able to notice the difference?
A. Again, Yes and No. This mod does not require Beats Headset, this only serves as an equalizer therefore it's all software. But it's a must to have a good pair of earphones and an impeccable sense of hearing.

Q. I found this mod at a different site. Why bother taking these steps, while I can flash this using CWM?
A. The file that you found contains a different update-binary and updater-script, therefore making it difficult to flash across all Gingerbread Devices. I won't bother making a tutorial on how to append those files, because it involves extracting those binaries from your rom. Let's keep it simple and utilize what we have.

Q. It's not working for me, this is crap!
A. Good grief! Get out of these thread, make your life easier and take your trolling elsewhere.

Now, lets start with the obvious.

You Need:
1. Rooted Phone
2. Root Explorer or any file explorer that can go to root and assign permissions.
3. Beats Audio files (get it here) or see the attachment.
4. Common sense (very important)

Steps:

1. Copy the zip file to the root of your sdcard.

2. Unzip files using root explorer or an archiver program. Point to where you extracted the files (commonly found in "extracted" folder).

3. Copy all the files in their respective folders.

/system/bin/
/system/etc/
/system/lib/
/system/etc/audio/

* do not copy lib files to /system/lib/soundfx/ this will mess up your headset and speaker settings. You will hear audio (headset+speakers) simultaneously.

4. Mount as R/W. Assign permissions on ALL the files.

For bin files:

rwxr-xr-x

X X X
X 0 X
X 0 X

Files in /lib, /etc and /etc/audio/ :

rw--r--r

X X 0
X 0 0
X 0 0

5. Once all files are copied and assigned correct permissions, Reboot your phone (off/on method).

Now open your favorite Music Application and be amazed! This mod also works with Volume+ and DSP Managers.

NOTE: Do not install "X-Loud" mod. You will experience crashes/ Force Close on some Music applications (NRG,Playerpro,ttpod,etc).


FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS PROPERLY and of course ENJOY!

2-3 hours. Battery longevity/consumption really depends on usage. I usually charge in-between usage. Charging frequently won't take a toll on your battery unless it's defective. Clearing battery stats once it hits 100%, reboot phone then use phone normally will help to calibrate battery. There are many battery saving apps and calibration tools available in the market, just look around.

It usually takes me a day before charging again under normal use. I tested the phone when on idle (no internet, just let the phone sit around) 2-2.5 days before running out of juice. But when I use wifi,3g,play games it drops to 3-4 hrs. Our battery is just 1200mah, I wish we have a larger capacity. It is recommended to bring a charger, extra battery or an external battery source when you're on the road since smartphones like SGY really churns out more power.

mga sir.. d napansin na wala na palang data connection sa cp q after nagflash aq ng bagong roms.. :weep:.. naka wifi kc bahay namin eh:weep:.. any help naman po? pag switch on ang packet data, walang lumalabas na hspda or gprs sa notification bar at di talaga makaconnect sa net:weep:

Mine lasts 3-4 days on idle/light texting and music usage., stock ROM DXKL2. I charge on dead battery (phone can't be turned on).

Asphalt 3 lang ata ang puwede. Check mo sa galaxyygaming.blogspot.com meron dun. :)

May repencis, termarom, hybrid 2 at 2.1, MySSD (Vietnamese ROM), atbp. Check mo sa xda developers.

Sinubukan ko yung Repencis v2. Maganda siya kaya lang nagloloko ang wifi. Wala pa fix as of this time.

Ano'ng ROM po ang ni-flash ninyo? Flash from stock firmware po ba or flash from another custom ROM? More details please.
