@fawkes01: tama po kayo. Advantage lang ng Postpaid malaki savings mo compared to prepaid, unlisurf 200 good for 5days. in 20days you will spend 800. Unlike postpaid 999/month.

Ang tindi pa rin ng speed mo. Btw, pwede ko po ba mahinig yung link kung saan mo nakuha yang Dashboard mo Sir? Paki-PM na lang po para ma-try ko i-flash sa e353 ko. TIA!

I am happy of the positive results and informations we are gaining here.

As promised here is the edited Dashboard of a Smart Rocket Plug-it gusto ko kasi ma maximize ang usage ng promising USB modem dongle natin. Sorry kung puno na inbox dumami nag IM sa akin simula ng i up ko itong thread hope i can all give the response you all need.

So what do you expect from this dashboard?
You can now choose from RAS and NDIS so you can joggle which one will boost your connection.
And also addes some infos on the diagnostics such as signal strenght, network type, IP and DNS. I know ngayon hindi pa helpful but i guess someday puwede.
As always please use it at your own risk. I recommend this for smart bro users and any provider that this edited dashboard and firmware will work.
Meron po sa first page ng default firmwre and dashbaord kung gusto ninyong ibalik sa dati.
So ang next ko naman eh yung para ma enable yung option para ma enable ko ang pagpili from CHAP to PAP and also the ability na makapag lagay ng bagong APN.
Update ko na rin yung first page para dito.
For now ito muna. Enjoy!

Please allow me to post a little bit OT.
I bought 10 credits to DC-Unlocker to Unlock my Longcheer WM66a (longcheer wm66 can be unlocked using DC-Crap free). and test the speed of my postpaid. The max bandwidth of Longcheer WM66a is 3.2Mbps only. the max upload rate is 333Kbps
Heres the result

I salute you Sir Dezmay. I believe you were the only one who were able to modify this dashboard successfully. Na-DL ko na and will try to use it now!

kung meron lang sanang reader na makapag share on how to re enable huawei configurations para mapadali sana ang ating editing. pero anyhow try ko pa rin. i still have 3 hours punta kasi kami sa family ni Misis.
update na lang po kayo of the result of your testing bale gamit ko ngayon itong edited na smart dashboard.
also i was able to talk with a smart reps ragarding HSPA+ for her what we are getting is only HSPA since the sim we are using is only provision to get a max of that and not HSPA+. so i have plans to buy a Smart Rocket Plug-It na prepaid para ma verify or kahit sim lang. Malalaman natin.

@dezmay: Kakatapos ko lang po i-flash yung file sa e353 ko and it was the same Rocket Dashboard interface. And like you said, pwede na nga mag-switch between RAS and NDIS. For now, stick muna ako sa RAS+PAP combo, pag NDIS kasi bumabagal ang connection.
About getting the Rocket Plug-It from Smart, I'm afraid na locked na sa network yung makukuha mo. Yung first batch nila ay openline at isa ako sa mga nakabili, actually 2 ang ganun ko. Reserba kasi yung isa hehe. Pero tingnan mo pa rin Sir. About getting the Sim, pwede ka siguro nila i-accommodate but that Sim is profiled for their Voulme-metered scheme which is P200/180 Mbps of Data usage. HIndi ka pwede mag-avail ng Unlisurf.
Sana makatulong ito sa iyo. Like you mentioned, lahat ay iyong gagwin para sa ikagaganda ng e353 hehe.

Sir fawkes01 actually that old Smart Bro Plug-It dashboard ay puwedeng ma extract using a tool. Uninstall mo po muna ang iyong lumang dashboard ng E353 then plug your old Smart Rocket datacard to install it's dashboard/firmware again. Then you need to use Huawei Tool to extract that dashboard to ISO then later convert it to an installer. You can ask help from boss jaime4i siya po kasi nag introduce sa akin gn tool na ito.

@fawkes01: sir gusto mo ba gamitiin yung fakiro dashboard? pag na download mo na yung file ni Dezmay, just execute the file. See to it disconnected ka and close the program of your dashboard.
Thanks for the instruction Sir. Mas okay para sa akin itong modified Rocket Dashboard kasi na-carry over yung mga nagawa ko profile. I'll try to do this and will let you know pag nagawa ko na sir.

straight forward po ang tool thanks to boss jaime4i see below screenshot. The number corresponds to the steps below too.
Run the tool make sure your Huawei is plugged in.
1. On top click Options.
2. On the CDROM drive choose the drive for your usb modem dongle. On the Output ISO image file put where you want to save your ISO file and put a name for it then click on Backup.
3. Once done with the backup run the tool again on the Input ISO image file locate the ISO image you created. Then on the Output dashboard installer file locate a folder where you want to put your dashboard installer and put a name on it without ".exe" extension. You can change the dashboard label to your name too. Then hit Create dashboard

ahh! pwede pala thanks sir Dezmay last question po kung sino man ang nakatry na sa inyo posible po kaya aabot din ako ng 5mbps kahit hindi ako naka plan? gusto ko kasi bumili ng e353 tapos baka pag gamit ko walang pinagbago, ayaw ko lng naman masayang pera ko. salamat po kung sino man ang sasagot
