i am at the office so mamaya ko pa siya ulit mahaharap pero na chachange ko na ang RAS to NDIS and vice versa
so need pala ang old ISO ng Smart Rocket Plug-IT
Sakto ba Sir Dezmay hehe. Buti at napagana mo yung pagpalit from NDIS to RAS and vice versa. I tried looking into the configuration of the program files for Mobile Partner pero hindi ko mahanap yung settings para ma-tweak mo yung sa Dashboard. In my case kasi, when I upgraded to Smart's Rocket Dashboard, na-carry over yung profiles from the old one kaya I can interchange the settings. Sana nga ay maayos mo yan mamaya and i-share mo sa amin ang findings mo. Let us know kung may maitutulong kami Sir.
yes sir, due to congestion and buildings na nag blo-block ng signal. Sabi nga ng engineering support ng Smart, iba daw talaga ang tapon ng GSM signal kaysa HSPA or HPSA+ Signal. Eh dito kasi sa place ko halos walang buildings, vast area of lands that owned by elites, not yet develop. Dinidevelop din nila ngayon yung LTE ng Smart, susubukan ko agad pag available na dito.
Sana lahat tayo ma achieve ang ganun speed para sulit naman ang biniling modem.
Yan ang ideal spot para ma-maximize yung bato ng signal from Base Stations to subscribers. Kung pwede nga lang patagin ang buildings dito sa area ko hehe. From what I read, premium pricing ang magiging scheme for LTE and it will be on Postpaid. Kung ganyan ang gagawin nila, they have to make sure na makukuha ng potential subs yung advertised speed of up to 42 Mbps, which is lame kasi LTE is supposed to be up to 100 Mbps in DL and up to 50 Mbps in UL speeds. Nasa beta test na ang LTE and from the looks of it, posibleng early next year na nila iro-roll out yun sa public. By that time, meron na siguro sellers ng Unlocked LTE modems here. Yun ang dapat abangan!!!

isa rin napansin ko not sure if its has anything to do with jaime4i speed, naka lagay sa signal bar "smart gold", baka cguro may dahilan bakit bilis speed nya, baka they can separate users and adjust thier speed, kc atm d ko na na aabot yng 1mb/sec parang lagi max nya is around 600/kb then it will drop using smarbro sim with unlisurf at the moment

@jlodvo yes same here nag drop din yung akin pag nakaunlisurf ako.. kaya naman po siya nakasmart gold.. naka plan 999 po kc siya sa smartbro.. i think advantage talga pag nakapostpaid ka.. kaya cguro gnyan ang speed nya..

If you live in Manila, you can buy it at HotGadgets located in Eton CyberPod, Ortigas. It costs, P2600 for the unit only or around P3200 if bundled with an external antenna. Isa siya sa mura magbenta ng e353. But if you want a cheaper alternative, you amy opt for the ZTE MF691. Almost same specs din siya ng e353 though wala nga lang siya external antenna interface. It costs around P2100-2200. You may want to do some backreading kasi may post na din siya tungkol dun.
Meron ding nagbebenta ng slighly used e353, nagkakatalo lang po sa price at kung may kasama freebies. I don't know if allowed sabihin yung website dito. Basta devoted din siya sa mga techies... yung me TIPID sa URL haha!

I think iba lang yung profile for postpaid and prepaid subscribers for Smart kahit pareho lang ang APN at ibang settings para maka-connect ka sa network. Nagkataon lang na yung location ni Sir jaimei4 is wala sagabal na infrastructures kaya maganda ang salo niya ng speed from the base station. And hindi pa siguro congested ang area niya kaya lakas humatak ng bandwidth ng setup niya.
For some reason, mas okay yung Rocket Dashboard. Mas lumakas yung signal ko and bumilis pati speed kaya ito na ang gamit ko ngayon. dati kasi panay palit ko ng Dashboard. Wala naman mawawala if i-try mo i-flash yun sa e353 mo.
Na-receive ko na yung PM mo but when I tried to reply hindi siya ma-send kasi puno na daw yung inbox mo. Anyways, I'll be looking forward sa ise-share mo sa akin. I'm also doing my rounds of configuration here. Share ko sa iyo kung ano yung sa tingin ko ay helpful para ma-boost ang performance ng e353s natin hehe.
Hanapin ko mamaya smartbro sim prepaid ko, para ma compare natin kung may big difference between postpaid and prepaid... BRB

btw, -73dBm ko pala ngayon, without antenna yan. Kaya naging stable.

try ko rin gawa profile any apn papasok rin
before remember ko dapat tama eh why kaya kahit ano setting pumapasok ngayon
kahit globe, sun profile pwede ewan ko why, pero hina yng connection ko speedtest nasa 1.5-2mb lng

Yup, meron na po LTE but it's on a Closed Beta Launch Phase. Select few ang target nila for the test like bloggers who can do extensive tests on the Smart's LTE network and provide their feedback in return so that Smart can work on its shortcomings before they launch it to the public by early 2012.

Ganyan din ginawa ko before but it seems Smart tried to throttle those APNs. You may even leave it blank and click the DYNAMIC radio button sa profile management and still makaka-connect ka pa rin. In the end, itinigil ko na din paggamit ng ibang APN. Mas naging stable na ang signal at performance ng device ko when I did that. Try to stick muna to SMARTBRO as your APN. And hindi naman palagi reliable ang speedtest results. Mas mainam na determinant ng speeds mo yung direct downloads or streaming.
