try mo yung niresh ML with amd support, backread ka ng 2 to 3pages, pinoist ko yung link, yan gamit ko sa amd lappy ko.

ah ganun ba, oo pagkatapos kong mainstall nag-upgrade agad ako sa 10.6.7 pero inde gamit ung software update inde kasi nila advisable un eh, recommended nila ung download mo manually ung osx 10.6.7 combo update then install the update tpos wag muna magreboot install the update efi pagkatpos ma install ung update efi reboot na, nagbabalak nga akong iupgrade pa ito sa 10.6.8 eh, kaso inde nila recommended un eh, kasi ung iba naghahang sa boot dun sa may apple logo, ung iba nman inde gumagana ung ibang hardware like cam, mic, sound.

musta nman ung HACKINTOSH mo? musta performance at ung hardware 100% working ba lahat. legit copy din ung sayo diba.

ahh.. nice. actually I already got files needed for hackintosh sir. Matagal na. Kaso di nga lang talaga ako nakakahanap ng time. Pag may time eh nawawalan ng gana. And yes, yung manually combo update talaga ang kailangan. That is about 1GB+ (1.5GB+) size.

As for my hackintosh, yun talaga reason ko. Pero I really wanted a hackintosh build. Talagang tinatamad lang. And yes, legit copy.

As for my side question, natry mo na po bang macompare ang iAtkos vs Niresh build sir? Though I knew (as far as the information I gathered is concerned), iAtkos is better.

Di ko alam kung may SSSE3 support yung processor mo kasi yung ung kelangan para mapatakbu yung 64bit applications ng ML. Try ML first as litement suggested.

Sounds : install VoodooHDA xx.7.2 ( di ko matandaan yung exact version kc nasa windows ako ngaun ), basta pili ka lng ng isa under VoodooHDA

Graphics : Try GraphicsEnabler=Yes first during boot. Kung ayaw magtransparent yung taskbard or magpalit ng resolution, try this.

WLAN : anu yung exact chipset nyang broadcom na yan?

romski, overnight downloading ako, kaya 2nd night nadownload na sya at sinubukan ko. Nakachamba lang, halos mabiyak na utak ko kakakalikot sa Vaio Y na ito, lahat ng iAtkos S3, L2 at ML, ayaw gumana pati yung Hazard SL, while itong NireshML with AMD buti at pumasok. Yung iAtkos kasi matagal na sa hackintosh world, si niresh bago pa lang. Mas stable ang pagkakagawa ng iAtkos.

@jhusly, thanks din sayo at sa mga inputs mo, may bago ako natutunan. Obserbahan ko pa itong Vaio, at looks like kelangan kong iformat ulet para makalikot pa yung mga icucustomize kasi para slow itong Vaio ko ngayon, hindi ganun kasmooth pa.

With the distro, its not really like one build's is much more solid than the other because when you sum it all up, its still the original osx running in your system after successful installation. The difference between distros only lies on how well it is created so the distro would be installed much more easily and as much as possible painlessly, this includes in its collections of kexts and kernels. The only big difference between iAtkos and Niresh since sila yung namention mo is that iAtkos has been doing his thing quite a while at isa sya sa mga naunang nagrelease ng mga distro whereas Niresh first release is Lion. Mas madali din magsearch ng problem kung iAtkos ang gamitin mo lalot may sarili silang forum.

Distro vs Retail OSX. Ang mga distro ay design para magwork iba't-ibang machine with different spec and of course may kasama itong ibat-ibang fix na kelangan sa iba-ibang machine so hindi talaga maiiwasan na sa una medyo may conflicting issues but when you get a hang of what should be installed and what not on your machine magiging stable din naman. Isa din sa mga sinasabing pangit sa distro is yung possibility na malagyan ng backdoor yung system mo without your knowing lalo pa't ang iba sa mga ngrerelease ay mga hacker but Im not saying na meron nga peru theres really a possibilty.

Personally, mas pabor ako kung bibili ka ng copy nung osx as gratitude din install using easybeast, kakewalk or myhack saka ka maghahanap ng mga fixes na kelangan ng machine mo para mapagana lahat ng components. Syempre mas malinis ang method na to kasi napipili mo ng maayos kung anu lang kaylangan ininstall sa machine mo at of course less prone to errors and kernel panic.

With regard to updates, lahat ng hackintosh nauupdate as long as supported ng kernel mo ang update. Download ka lang ng update from the mac site itself saka mo install sa system mo. Like the problem na meron sa amd machines dati, hangang Lion lng ang pwede mainstall kasi walang custom kernel na pwedeng gamitin hanggat nitong kelan lang may mabait na gumawa ulit (same story during the lion release).

amd_kernel, was built by Andy Vandjick, but that wouldn't be possible without the amazing work by Sinetek (who made the first ssse3 emulator ever, enabling non FX-series CPUs to run OSX in 64-bit kernel mode), R:A:W:x86, Bronzovka (who made Lion on AMD possible) and the Voodoo team. Many thanks to them all!

Pati pala emulator ng SSSE3 meron na. So lahat na ng AMD cpu supported na sa 10.8 unlike sa mga dati kong post.

@denz, try mo ito or here. Gamit ka ng kext wizard para iinstall ang kext files.

@sfx, try mo yung Voodoo 2.7.1
hindi ko pa natry ang mac clone, pero kung nakadual boot ka ng windows, gawin mo, install ka ng Macdrive sa windows, then gamit iyon, pwede mong ibrowse ang hardisk ng hackintosh mo, pwede mong iaccess ang System/Library/Extra kung saan dun nakalagay ang mga kext(drivers) ng hackintosh mo, pwede mo na din edelete yung kext na nilagay mo bago pa man magkaroon ng panic. Pwede mo din dun ka na lang maglagay/add/delete ng mga kext.

denz_1209 : may specific chipset pa yan kada type ng wlan. Like mine from cdrking which is Ralink RT5370. Try checkng the manufacturers site for you unit's detailed specs or try this.

OSX drive cloning : Carbon Copy Cloner is the best! Good question btw.
But for something like that na minor lng ang reason for kernel panic, just browse your osx hd using MacDrive then delete the kext installed in kext library.

Upgrade from Lion - ML : install mo ulit yung mountain lion. dahil major update po ang ML from Lion. Like Win7-Win8.

Peru kung gusto mo lng ng incremental update, punta ka sa site ng apple then download client combo update. 10.7.5 is the last and latest update for lion.

Yes, when it comes to support, iAtkos got a decent support compared to Niresh's.

Uhm, when it comes to security, it's not a very big deal to me, though its somewhat a big deal, but not very. Pero siguro naman, sa dami ng gumagamit ng mga distro nila, baka naman siguro marami ding developer ang nakakabasa sa mga backdoor inputs nila.

I got SnowLeopard naman po. Kaso lang, as what I know, the safest latest update sa Snow Leopard is until 10.7.3, which is under Lion na update pa lang. But gusto ko ML eh. hahaha. demanding.


Ano kaya ang latest version ng MAC na pwede sa lappy ko. Need to search for it. May mga gamit na naman ako eh. Ang kulang nalang eh yung iAtkos ML2 at Niresh ML 10.8.2.
