Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

bro, ung Max settings ng games malalro ko pa ba? example skyrim or nba2k12. sa multitasking okay din ba siya?

Yung monitor at 1366x768 resolution, you'll be able to play most games at max settings.

Okay pa yan. If ever mabitin ka lang sa RAM bili ka lang ulit of the same kind tapos salpak mo lang to make it 8GB.

Kung ang tanong kung mas okay, tama yan. Pero kung recommended I think not. Di mo masusulit yung GPU dun sa 18.5" na monitor. Sa GPU na yan dapat at least 21.5" monitor or higher with a resolution of 1920x1080 para masulit mo.

Kung may plano ka naman mag palit ng higher resolution monitor in the future edi ok narin.

@Chubbs17 - maging masipag ka lang, gising ng maaga, luto ka ng pagkain nila tapos maglaba ka at maglinis ng bahay tapos kunting masahe, tapos lambing ganun lang

@Janz - ang sakit naman pala sa bulsa nung water cooling na yun, anu ba mganda brand dun? at yung H100 around 5K daw tama ba?

@Janz - ang sakit naman pala sa bulsa nung water cooling na yun, anu ba mganda brand dun? at yung H100 around 5K daw tama ba?

Pang enthusiast na talaga yung ganun, hobby na ang pag build ng malulupet na setup. Almost 6K narin ang H100 on some stores.

Yun nga eh, nakakaadik daw kasi mag mod ng pc lalo na pag customization friendly yung case. Gagawing haggard lol... kahit nga yung mga ganyang parang hydro ang angas na tignan parang naka mask yung cpu mo, fallout ba hahaha

tpos baba ka ng doroteo jose. lakarin mo going to lrt 2 sakay ka tapos baba ka ng gilmore station. tpos un nandun ka na. lakad2 ka lng andun n mga tindahan

sir pa tulong naman im planing to upgrade my pc budget 15k gusto ko po sana ung malalaro ko ung 2k12 ng full settings tsaka ung call of duty wag niyo na po isama ung hdd tsaka monitor and GPU pero kung panget po yung GPU ko ok lang din. My problema din po kasi ako bka alam niyo din ang dahilan, hindi ko po kasi alam ang dahilan laging nag oover tempearature siya kahit ilang beses na ko nag lalagay ng thermal paste. nag 89-93 degree siya.

MOBO: Asus P5MXSE
RAM: 2gb ddr2
HDD: 500GB

revise ko lang po sir yung una ko pong inquiry about sa binubuo kong desktop.

these are the 2 units pwede po kayang pa advice kung tama yung buo ko and regarding the watts consumption po kung kakayanin po nya..?

Ikaw yung maguupgrade di ba? Wala ka bang isasalavage sa old system mo like HDD, ODD at Casing

yes sir for gaming that would last for a very long time po sana.. nabasa nyo po kaya yung bago kong post sir binago ko kasi yung fan nung akin kasi ive search na di sya mag kakasya.. tas pinaltan ko yung kay gf ng low profile ram para di na sya mag palit ng HSF

sir thank you for your honest reply pero which part po ako nag kamali and paki explain po sana master for me to learn more about hardware.. sa budget naman po without monitor sa akin i can go 25~30k minimizing hardware kay gf naman po minimizing to 20~23k or less po..

and balak ko rin po upgrade yung 460 watts PSU kasi parang di po kaya ang load..
