[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Hanggat wala pa yung mid-range 600 series ng Nvidia, mas recommended ang 7000 series ng AMD.

Grabe yung FSP Raider series, 90% efficiency. Mukang ok na ok ang FSP ngayon

astig tlga ang FSP no boss.. pahirapan lng tlga maghanap ng stock nyan.. hirap maghanap ng FSP eh..

sabagay marami pa magsisilabasan on the next months hehehe baka magbago pa isip ko sa 7750 kapag may lumabas na mas maganda

ok na yan basta cguraduhin mo lng maganda ang monitor mo.. kung maganda nga GPU panget naman monitor sayang lng ahaha.. ako nga 6670 lng pero 32" potek sulit na sulit sarap manood ng HD movies and games

mga ka symb anu po ba kelangan ko i upgrade sa rig kpag ganto?
mukang messed up sa rig ko , minsan pag i oon ko , bukas ung cpu pero walang display black screen lng tapos blinking ung ilaw ng monitor, kelangan ko pa ireset minsan para mag tuloy ang boot

Pa help naman mga ka SB anu maganda Vcard for this MOBO Biostar N68S3B GF7025/ddr3 nasira kasi yung old vcard ko 1year pa lang 1gb HD 4670 DDR3 128 bit 2.5k - 3.5k Budget

anu magandang alternative sa Antec VP450? un tropa ko kc ginaya un build ko kaya lang out of stock na, bka may alam kau na pwd ipalit un hindi lalayo sa price ni antec, un magandang klase din sana

Yup, good build narin. Inquire mo nalang sa kanila kasi alam ko bayad muna bago assemble/pickup. Just so you know, kailangan mo yung boxes at receipt for warranty purposes at para madali ibenta if ever.

Ang problema kasi dyan gumastos ka ng malaki tapos sinasayang mo yung optimal performance. Sayang yung GPU sa monitor na yan. A 5k GPU can max most games on that monitor. Wala naman problema kung okay ka na sa 18.5", ang point is nagsasayang ka ng pera sa performance na di mo sinusulit.

You also need an aftermarket HSF para sa cpu/mobo na yan. Kung di ka lang din mag overclock, downgrade sa cpu at mag H77 ka nalang. You could also use a better PSU, iwasan ang Cooler Master na PSU.

If you want to waste performance, ayan yung build na gusto mo hehe.

wala pa sya GPU pero to follow ung sapphire 7770 oc edition, kuya ang ram nya 4gb kingston lang un 1333 pwd na ba un ?
