Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - 11070 if bought with MoBo
MoBo: Asrock AB350M Pro 4 - 4620
GPU: 6gb Inno3d iChill GTX 1060 X3 OC - 13980
RAM: Corsair Dominator PT 16GB 2x8G 3000Mhz CL15 - 9350 (dynaquest)
Hard Drive: 1tb Toshiba 32mb 7200rpm = 2150
Casing: Tecware Edge TG, atx, all black, x-side, 3x120mm, USB3 - 2000
Power Supply: Seasonic S12II, 520watts PSU, 80 bronze = 2780

Total: 45950

Questions lang po sa build ko:

Dude, stop with the bottleneck questions. It's already 2018 and bottleneck is almost irrelevant especially if you are playing at 144p.

To answer your some of your questions, better RAM clock speed really doesn't give a boost. Go watch some YouTube videos, 3000MHz RAMs only gives you max 5% boost at FPS and at their current prices, it's not worth it. I'd rather advice you get a 2400MHz clock speed.

- Your casing can support up to 400mm. If your GPU is below that size then you are good.

So, yung 1866mhz ko, downclocked lang to 1600.
Pwede mo naman subukan, manual input nyo latency, tapos try mo match speeds nila. Or down clock mo yung higher to match the lower kung gusto mo magamit extra stick mo, kung ayaw gumana, eh di tanggalin

sige2x boss. salamt. feedback ako mamaya. sayang din kasi.

maganda pa naman specs mo with i5 6500 against dyan sa i3 8100 mo ah :noidea: it's only around 12% better than your current processor on some tasks. bili ka na lang ng magandang video card like a 1060 at SSD. hindi magandang combo kasi lalabas na mas mahal pa motherboard mo kesa sa processor mo. or hintay ka ng entry level motherboard ng 8th gen by around 3rd week of january to early february as forecasted.

4. i f*king hate bottleneck questions

Sorry sir first time ko mag custom build naninigurado lang hahaha. Salamat din sa input. Nanunuod ako you youtube videos saka articles about dun sa RAM speed kaso hindi ko din masyado magets. May rank saka CL. Any recommendations po sa RAM? At least 8GB po sana na good price. :D

You won't really notice a difference in using CL14 and CL16 unless you game in 144p or 4K and it offers very little add on FPS. The extra money spent is not worth it at 1080p and with the inflated RAM prices at the moment.

For your build, Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 is better. Quite expensive though (PHP5,950.00 at DQ) but at least you have a good memory. You can also opt for Single Channel and then buy another Single Channel 8GB RAM in the future if you have the budget. You may want to check PCHub also since they are the only two that offers the cheapest RAM on the market.

RAM prices are so ridiculous right now no thanks to these smartphones. I purchased the same RAM last July for 7K and it's a 16GB Dual Channel already.

malabo yan

saan yan? :noidea:
