REQUIREMENTS: (MUST HAVE)
Hardwares
Samsung J1 2016 / SM-J120H
Android 5.1.1
USB cable
PC/LAPTOP

Softwares
Samsung Drivers
ODIN
TWRP RECOVERY
SUPERSU
Stock Rom (Incase you FAIL. )


THIS IS A 2 PART TUTORIAL
1. Installing TWRP Recovery
2. Rooting

************************* TAKE NOTE *************************
You must first enable OEM UNLOCKING in Developers Options
Follow this tutorial by ps2332


START

Installing TWRP Recovery

1. Install Samsung Drivers
2. Open ODIN (Run as Admininstrator)
Click AP then select TWRP RECOVERY
Click Options then UNCHECK Auto Reboot

3. Put phone in Odin mode by HOLDING Volume down + Home key + Power key
4. There will be a warning, press Volume up to continue
5. Plug-in your phone into your pc/laptop using usb cable
Wait for the phone drivers to install
6. Check the status if connected. See the attachment below
7. Click START to start flashing
8. After flashing, there will be a green box that says PASS (it will be pretty obvious)
9. Remove the usb cable. DO NOT TURN OFF THE PHONE
10. Reinsert the battery of the phone to turn off the device
You should not turn off the device using the Power Key
11. Turn on the phone

ROOTING

1. Plug the phone to your pc/laptop using usb cable
2. Copy the SUPERSU to your Phone Memory
3. Turn off your phone
4. Boot to recovery by HOLDING Volume Up+ Home key + Power key
5. You are now in the TWRP Recovery
Swipe to the right to continue
6. Click Install
7. Select the SUPERSU that you copied
8. Swipe to confirm Flash
9. Click Wipe cache/dalvik
Then Swipe to Wipe
10. Click Reboot System
First Boot will take time

CONGRATULATION!!! You are now Rooted ​

NOTICE!!!
If you accidentally bricked your phone do not worry. You can still fix it
Download your Stock Rom.
Make sure you select the firmware with the "Philippines".
Flash it using Odin (follow the instructions for installing TWRP but select the stock rom you downloaded instead).


TWRP can't restore backups. If you happen to backup your rom using TWRP it will not work when you restore it.​

Sa ngayon hindi ko pa alam kung paano e off ang FAP lock.

make sure po na naka enable yung OEM unlock after rooting. Para hindi siya mag FAP lock.
At this time hindi muna ma open yung phone kasi naka disable. Ito yong bagong security for new samsung devices.
"Alternative option nito ay"
Try mo flash ng stock firmware ng phone mo. Kung gusto mo siya e root. make it sure na naka enable ang OEM onlock para hindi naman siya mag FAP lock after mo siya e reboot.

Nagawa ko po ito sa SM-J120H ko. successfull naman siya. make sure lang na tama yong na download mo na stock firmware para sa device mo para gumana.

Gumana to sakin. I carefully followed the instructions kya successful ang pagroot na akong J120H.

Para sa FRP lock isue (di yan FAP lock), kailangan lng i-activate ang Developer Options s Samsung J120H.

To do that,

1) Pumunta sa Settings->About Device->Software Info.
2) Pindotin and Build Number pitong beses.
Ma-activate ang Developer Options.

3) Bumalik sa Settings at Makikita mo ang Developer Options at i-click.
4) Under Developer Options, makikita mo ang OEM Unlock na naka turn off. Turn it on and that's it!

I-follow lang ang instructions ni @insidehands93 at maa-unlock ang inyong Samsung J120/H.

di po lalaki internal storage ng phone mo pagniroot pero mas magkakaroon ka ng full control sa phone mo at pwede kang maginstall ng kahit anong apps basta supported parin ng phone mo
