This CWM RECOVERY doesnt install a permanent cwm but rather triggers it by sending the necessary files over to ur phone which are deleted at reboot. So this is done every time to enter cwm mode.

1. Installing the Driver and the Driver SKY Fastboot and Root before making CWM.
SKY Fastboot Driver http://www.mediafire.com/download/sg1v646ze116c12/MotorolaDeviceManager_2.4.3.exe

2. Root your Vega no.6 using GEOHOT TOWELROOT.http://www.mediafire.com/download/gpu86tbvjtaa9pt/Towelroot.apk

3. Download ur KITKAT ZIP ROM from above and put it in the root of ur phone.

4. Download and extract CWM Recovery 6037 A860L 4.4.2 tool. http://www.mediafire.com/download/od17td33208lbcl/CWM+Recovery+6037+A860L+4.4.2.zip

5. In ur phone go to Settings/Developer options and turned ON USB debuging. Connect ur phone to your computer using USB cable.

6. Run Recovery6037.bat and ur device will boot into fastboot mode and eventually into CWM RECOVERY. Unplug ur usb cable from the computer.

7. In CWM Recovery flashing, follow dis steps:

| install zip from sdcard
| |--->choose zip from sdcard
| |--->browse for the .zip
| |--->Yes, install zip...
| |--- go back
|
|------wipe data/factory reset ---> yes
|------wipe cache partition ---> yes
|
|
|-------advanced |----> wipe dalvik cache ---> yes
| | go back
|
|-------reboot system now

8. BOOM!!!! ur phone now is in KITKAT 4.4.2 VERSION!!!!!!


SA MGA IBANG VEGA PHONES NA MAY SMS LIMIT TRY NYO PO ITO KUNG GAGANA SA INYO:

SMS FIX:

First ROOT your phone and use GoSMS

1. Install any ROOT EXPLORER app

2. Download this FIX file from the attachment.

3. Extract files with WINRAR from downloaded ZIP file into local PC dir.

4. Put framework.jar file from extracted folder System/framework into phone SD card memory.

5. Now open ROOT Explore app in phone, browse to System/Framework and set permission to r/w.

6. In System/Framework folder of phone, renamed the file “framework.jar” file to “framework.jar.bak” or any other name.

7. Paste the framework.jar from your SD card (where u placed in 4.) to System/Framework folder of phone with ROOT EXPLORER.

8. Reboot your phone, when phone reboot again, it will shows message of upgrading application. Wait for finish!

9. In GO SMS, check the option of splitting SMS having more than 160 characters in SMS send setting.

OFFLINE UPDATE:

BINX FILE is the safest way to upgrade your VEGA device to a completely new generation of Android (ICS to Jelly Bean, Jelly Bean to KitKat).

1. Download universal drivers for all Pantech SKY or VEGA devices (A760 to A910) to connect it to your PC http://www.mediafire.com/download/2348ppfyqct2ylt/PVEGA_Install_V4_14_3_0.zip

2. Turn your device to what Pantech calls “SW Download mode” by pressing and holding Volume UP + Volume DOWN+ Power and the same time, then using volume key to navigate to PDL DOWNLOAD, then press Power to choose.

3. Connect your phone to your computer.

4. Download and unzip the file Sky Offline Flasher.http://www.mediafire.com/download/qx2cw2emdr85ubb/Sky_Offline_Rom_Flasher.rar

5. Download your stock roms from below.

6. Copy the BINX file into the folder you extracted.

7. Run Fixserver.exe and then Run_Sky_server.exe.

8. A website popup will run . Let it run , go take a coffee or anything . Depending on your internet speed , it took me 30mins to get the phone updated and running again.

Sir parang nde naman offline update to, kasi need pa rin maka connect sa net. So OTA update pa din sya dba... Similar din kasi ung ginawa ko sa vega 6 to para ma update.

Offline po yan ilagay mo lng sa folder ng sky offline flasher yung update file ng no.6..isang beses lng ko to ginamit kasi medyo natatagalan ako kaya after dat CWM ang ginagamit ko mas mabilis kasi.

Sir un update using CWM ba wala ng korean apps, at wala narin sms limit? Pwede narin ba iroot pag 4.4.2 na? :thanks:

Official update po yun kaya may mga korean apps pro huwag mabahala I just updated my post in 1st page at gamitin mo yung ported iron vega 2 na custom rom wala na itong korean apps...kung ayaw mo nmn gumamit ka nlng ng Titanuim Back-up( dapat rooted na ang no.6 mo) para madelete mo yung mga korean apps pro make sure na mgback-up muna sa app bago mo edelete.

Same procedure po sa lahat ng pantech sky vega phone hanap nlng po kau ng custom rom sa vega iron..hindi ko na nilagay yung ibang pantech vega kasi may thread na dun at higit sa lahat vega no.6 lng yung cp ko na sinubukan ko at naging successful yung pg update ko sa kitkat, sinishare ko lng po ito sa iba.

Mas madali at komportable ako kung tru CWM RECOVERY ang gagamitin sa pg udate or pg flash ng custom rom.

Pro kung riskbreaker po talaga kau...post nlng ng model ng vega iron nyo dito at hahanapan natin ng custom rom at kau ng bahalang mg flash..babala lng po FLASH AT UR OWN RISK...hehehe
