I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

3 in 1 printer (continuous)

pldt dsl 1.5mbps with phone (residential)

wlang webcam at avr
rental 7k (may kwarto at cr) tiles ang floor

magkno sa tingin nyo dapat? Alangan kc ako dahl luma n pc. 160k ang una price nya pro ngyn eh 80k na. Pls kelangan ko advice asap. Tnx

1. Ang pagkakaintindi ko diyan sa package na yan, 8 computer + ung place? 80k?

2. If your gonna use the computers for internet/facebook etc. Ok na ung computer. Kung gaming, sabog yang mga yan, sobrang hina niyan.

3. Next is the DSL Line... why the heck would anyone sell their DSL line? I say cut the line and buy a residential 3mbps instead of that one at least sa inyo nakapangalan, walang demandahan pag tagal.

4. Tama nga, walang AVR at webcam... pero magkanu lang un... its about 300 a piece for AVR at 350 naman para sa webcam... reasonable...

3. Yung PLDT DSL line is ililipat nya s name ko. Plan ko rin i-upgrade iyon. Puro globe na lng kasi ang port dito at npakapangit ng globe. Wala na available line ang pldt
4. Plan ko rin talaga bili webcam. Yung AVR nman pde rin bili pde rin wala kc naka circuit breaker na sila. Bk maglagay na lng ako ng switch per outlet.

So bro mga magkano talaga pedeng mapresyohan ito? 8sets P4 3.06, 512ram, 256vga, 40 hdd?

Ang concern ko lng kc dito is mura, nka pwesto na, at may PLDT DSL na.

Need ko advise pls . . .

Aminin ko sayu, we just sold off more than 10 used units ng shop namin. Specs as follows:

P4 3.06Ghz
512mb RAM
80GB HD
Nvidia 5500 fx 128mb
ECS P4M800PRO-M
w/ Genuine Windows XP Home Edition Serials

for around 8k each...

kung 8 units yan, 64k lang un... Remember, used yan, hindi naman brand new... offer ka mga 60k, sabihin mo used ung pcs, especially if they are 1 year old or so... bibigay na motherboard niyan for sure...

P.S. Lang... merong 17" CRT monitor lahat yan.

Nalito ako sa tanung mo... senxa na... kala ko may existing system ka at mag uupgrade ka papunta diyan sa setup na yan.

Kung tama ung iniisip ko... Yan ang setup mo ngayun?

For increase in performance eto lang masusugest ko:

1. Overclock your processor to 3.2ghz (400mhz FSB), di ko sure kung kaya ng HSF niya yan, pero from reviews kayang kaya daw.
2. Overclock your ram to something let say 1066mhz from 800mhz or 1066mhz to 1200mhz. Or somewhere in between.
3. Upgrade your video card to something more decent, like GTX280 or better.
4. Make sure you have a large monitor... 22 inch and above recommended!!! Resolution set to 1600x1200 or better.
5. Make sure your PSU delivers 600w True Rated or better if upgrading video card with overclocked processor.

<<<--- excellent for simple gaming... =) Better than 7300GT anytime... Can play L4D2 if I remember. =)

Ok na ung deal, its fine... Just make sure na imaintain mo lang ng maayus ung mga pc and you'll be fine...

Printers? R230 ung continuous na maganda... May kapartner yan na 3 in 1 din sa Epson... forgot kung ano... black un, T50 ata? or x50? forgot kasi wala dito ung printer na un ngayun sa amin eh.

3 questions...

1. What kind of gaming? Hard Core Gaming which provides up to date equipment or Midrange gaming... playing with 17" to 19" monitors with decent framerates with games like Left 4 Dead 2, Heroes of Newearth (tama ba spelling?), Granado Espada and the like?

2. AMD or Intel?

3. Nvidia or ATI?

hahaha ung 2 at 3 puwedeng di na sagutin, pero ung 1 need namin masagot bago ka namin bigyan ng budget for a pc and etc.

Pero eto usual...

around 20k ~ 100k para dun sa ambiance ng shop mo... depende sa ganda ng shop mo yang price na yan...

LAN Cables - dont settle for the crummy 7php/meter kind... It sucks... really... ang lambot masyado nung pins, madaling maalis sa alignment pag nahatak. Remember the cheap RJ-45's also. Usually a budget of 100 ~ 200 per pc.

AVR's, Web Cams, Headsets and other parapernalia. Eto, optional... ung sa AVR magiging optional kung meron kang magandang circuit breaker... else, make sure you have AVRs with 600w (not 500w kasi puro 600w na ang mga PSUs ngayun) + mo pa ung monitor. - usually, budget of 700 ~ 1000 per pc.

Then Internet connection... for 10 pcs, minimum of 3mbps speed of Residential DSL type... (costs 3k per month... sulit na ba to? sa shop namin ok na ito eh...)

Umm... siguro mga 400k ok na... Kasi ung initial budget namin sa 20pc set ay 1m eh.

boss meron ba nagbbenta ng magkasama na yung continuous at 3in1 printer? Kasi pag bumili ako ng printer at gnawa ko continuous, automatic void na ang waranty sabi ng dealer like pcgilmore.

Yung epson r230 di nman 3in1 eh.

Mron b 3in1 printer na topload ang papel pero yung scanner eh flatbed? Tpos pde lagyan ng CIS?

I never said that R230 was 3 in 1. =)

Anyway, nakuha ko na ung model name ng Epson na 3 in 1 na gamit namin. Its the CX5500. Bought it na naka continuous na. Meron duon sa gilmore supplier ng mga continuous na printer forgot which one though.

Boss deil yung cx5500 ok sa photo printing kaht 4R borderles? Ano mas ok T110 o CX5500? Ang mahal ng CX8300 eh

unfortunately, hindi po pwede yan, its either you buy an AM2/AM2+/AM3 AMD processor for the Emaxx AMD780G-Pro or buy a compatible motherboard for your Pentium 4

Alam ko na kung san bibili ng printer. Epson TX110 with cis kunin ko. Nakikta ako na kaht cis na eh may waranty pa rin. Printer (1yr labor,3mons parts,1mon printer head) & 1 yr sa cis.

Maganda pa dito eh ibbgay ang orig ink cartridge mo. Sa iba wla na.

5k sya. Mas mahal ng konti sa iba na 4750. Pro ok lng dahl impt ay yung waranty at orig ink cartridge.
