[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

eto po kaya.nag bago na ako ng setup mas pinababa ko pa para makabili na rin ng monitor. para 30k buong setup na po... okay lnag po ba yung ganito? pede na for gaming and 3d rendering???

So far okay naman yung setup mo, although you can get a GTX 750 ti for a cheaper price, try different brands like Inno3d. As for gaming and 3D rendering, I think that card can handle the job pero kagaya nga ng sinabi ni MacHunter mas better ang r9 270 for that price range. Although mas power efficient ang GTX 750 ti due to its Maxwell architecture di sasakit ang ulo mo sa bill ng kuryente nyo every month kung 24/7 nakabukas ang pc mo. Just try to do some research first, madaming reviews and benchmarks na makikita sa internet about the 2 cards. Cheers!

hahahahaha. 4 ang core ng i5 (quad core)..... and dual core 2 lang. kaya dual core.. mas malakas i5 sa dual core....

pati 4th gen processor ng intel yang i5 n pinili ko (haswell) kaya bago at maganda kaysa sa dual core.... laking ganda nan

ano po kaya magandang lalagyan ?
at kung hard disk kaya need to ship din?

saan po kaya maganda ilagay toh? alm ko ang hard disk fragile so baka mabasag
