Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

I think hindi magiging useless ang tripple core sa internet cafe, dahil karamihan sa mga customers ngaun e grabe kung mag-multi-tasking ang hilig mgload ng ibat-ibang programs tas pa alt-tab alt-tab. Dito makakatulong yung isang core, mas magiging responsive yung system units ng shop mo which is magugustuhan ng mga customers.

Yung dual core e 65Watts TDP while yung tripple core e 95Watts TDP. Konti lang difference nyan, dahil peak wattage na yan (ibig sabihin 100% utilization ang lahat ng cores), which is napaka dalang lang mangyari kung mga ordinary applications lang gamit mo.

Another thing pa e, you can simply turn on AMDs Cool n Quiet sa Bios para mas madami ma save mo na kuryente kapag naka-idle lang ang PC.

No difference sa performance ang video card when it comes to AMD/Intel Chipsets... well almost... very minimal. =)

Example:

Intel Motherboard + Core2Duo processor + 9800GTX

is equal to

AMD Motherboard + AM2+ Processor (or any core2duo equivalent) + 9800GTX

magkakatalo lang kayo sa processing power... assuming the same ang brand ng 9800GTX.

EDIT:

Assuming the same ang Brand at Model ng video card mo. =) And everything else in between...

ganyan ang mobo na gamit ko ngaun. kung ako sayo mag ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO or MSI 785GM-E65 kanalang kung gusto mo ng 785G chipset na board.

kung pede ko lang ipapalit ngaun ito, ginawa ko na. ahaha..

existing naba yan? or bibilhin palang?

kasi mas maganda kung mag-DDR3 kana. pareho nalang price sa DDR2 e. tapos bakit 4x1? ayaw mo ng 2x2?

LOL. hindi ahh. bakit naman naging pangit ang PII X3 720, yan nga dapat bibilhin ko e nashort lang ako sa budget kaya AII X3 425 nalang kinuha ko.

eto advantage ng PII X3 720 sa AII X3 435

*Black Edition-(meaning unlocked multiplier niya)
*6MB L3 Cache-(walang ganyan ang AII X3 435)
*Very Much easy to unlocked the 1 hidden core

eto lang Cons.
*Mas mataas ng 100Mhz ang 435 sa 720 kung stock to stock basis. pero hindi mo naman mapapansin difference sa 100Mhz lang. Besides napakadali lang iOverclocked ng 720, isang pitik lang sa bios yung 100Mhz na yun.

so, that would mean, I should change my processor into quad core... ewan ko nga e kung balik intel or AMD parin ako.. bibili kame ng tatay ko ng processor.. sa palagay ko parang dependent lahat ng parts sa power supply diba.. napapansin ko kahit mataas na ung video card lag parin... pansin ko sa 95GT laggers gawa siguro nung power supply na GENERIC kahit na 500W at alam ko ndi equivalent to 500W ang binibigay ng mga generic..

at isa pa mga men.. anu ba ang problema ng DVD ko? OLD DVD na to e (DVD ROM), nagreread pa naman.. for installing purpose lang naman. pero bakit pag inoopen ko ung mga DVD medyo nag hahang while reading? hindi kaya power shortage ito gawa ng power supply kong generic? siguro nga sa power supply ito? tama ba ako? or bili nalang ako ng bagong DVD-RW?

power supply ang suspect ko kasi maliban sa may video card na ako (9500GT muna dahil generic palang ung PSU, tambay lang GTX260), may dalawa pa akong HDD, isa SATA at isa IDE..

correct me if i am wrong.. sigurista kasi ako e.. toinks..

Oo nga sir nasty, para saan to... Ganda ng processor ninyo.. pero ang P5KPL-AM ay para sa Intel... Isa pa, ung video card ninyo 3650 lang... para saan ninyo gagamitin yan?

Naghahang naman talaga pag nagreread galing sa dvd initially... kasi nirereserve ng processor ung priority sa disk read. Anu nilalaro mo sa 9500GT mo? Kasi di gaming video card ang 9500GT...

Kung bibili ka ng processor na bago, make sure compatible siya sa motherboard mo, if compatible, gugustuhin mo ba gamitin padin ung lumang motherboard mo o kukuha ka na ng bago? If you prompt for either one, make sure na compatible lang ung iba pang parts na isasaksak mo sa pc mo. =) Pag di mo sure, post lang dito...

I've never heard of problems with video cards without external requirements for power having problems with power itself... the PCI-E slot provides 75w of power already... 9500GT consumes a bit less than 75w.

yun nga kuya kaso hindi ko ma unlock yung 4th core kasi yung mobo ko rev 1.0 lang walang auto acc huhuhuh.
