I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

may tanong po ako tungkol sa RAM (memory card) gusto ko po upgrade yung ram ko. from 512 to one gig na DDR, pwede ko po bang kunin yung ram card tapos dalhin ko sa shop tapos sabihin jko "gusto ko ng 1 gigabyte na ganito" tapos gagana yun? bigat kasi ng pc ko

For programming po and for gaming. Originally po kasi Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 and Asus P5KPL-AM/PS yan pero since yung price ng E7500 at AMD X4 eh halos di nagkakalayo, decided na AMD X4 na lang. Have no idea kung anong motherboard ang pwede ngayon sa processor ko for 3k. About dun sa video card, may maisusuggest po ba kayo na worth 2500-3000 preferably sana ati radeon din? Thanks guyz

Oo nga sir nasty, para saan to... Ganda ng processor ninyo.. pero ang P5KPL-AM ay para sa Intel... Isa pa, ung video card ninyo 3650 lang... para saan ninyo gagamitin yan?



Naghahang naman talaga pag nagreread galing sa dvd initially... kasi nirereserve ng processor ung priority sa disk read. Anu nilalaro mo sa 9500GT mo? Kasi di gaming video card ang 9500GT...

Kung bibili ka ng processor na bago, make sure compatible siya sa motherboard mo, if compatible, gugustuhin mo ba gamitin padin ung lumang motherboard mo o kukuha ka na ng bago? If you prompt for either one, make sure na compatible lang ung iba pang parts na isasaksak mo sa pc mo. =) Pag di mo sure, post lang dito...

I've never heard of problems with video cards without external requirements for power having problems with power itself... the PCI-E slot provides 75w of power already... 9500GT consumes a bit less than 75w.

core i5 pipiliin ko.. kabisado ko lahat ng socket compatibility ng AMD pero ung sa intel di ako sure kasi LGA 1156 ung sa Core i5 so un.. hahaha bili nalang ako ng bagong DVD-RW lightscribe pa... sa DVD ROm na mismo ang problem ko.. siguro... naka windows 7 kasi ako baka ndi compatible.

yan ung safest way para makakuha ka ng ram na compatible sa motherboard mo... Make sure na 2 ang slot ng motherboard mo para hindi lang 1GB ang nakasaksak, magiging 1.5GB lahat2.

You actually can't place an AMD chip on an Intel Chipset Motherboard... that would just be wrong... and it wont work. Why ayaw mo na sa E7500 mo? Sayang yan... its one of the best overclock core2duos around. If you're going to buy Athlon II x4, you'll need to change your motherboard. Video cards... decent video cards are over 3000, like 4670 or 4770.

LGA1156 nga ang i3, as well as i5... Anu hindi compatible sa windows 7 mo?

Patulong naman mga tsung.. Pabili na sana aku sa Greenhills at nag canvas na ng may nirefer kapitbahay namin na may computer shop. Sabi nya pag by parts daw bilhin ko dun clone dw un(hindi naman po lahat di ba? Kaso pano ba malaman?)

MOTHERBOARD na my 3 slots sna ng memory (Ayaw nya ng asus at wag na daw slim, much better daw malaki o standard size) **Gusto ko sna asus pero dinidiscourage nya aku, Di ku tanda brand na gusto nya. Bale 6 usb ports (Dalwa sa harap) sa harap may saksakan dn HEADSET, palagayan ko dn CARD READER sna.

320gig HARD DISK (500gig HD nalang daw | Para skn malaki na nga maxado ang 320gig tska mas mbilis di ba ang pag process kpg mag 320gig ako kaysa 500gig. Di ba bnabsa ng PC ang lahat ng cycles ng hard disk d b? Tama b? Or ok lang mag 500gig na nga lang aku dahil di naman makakaapekto masyado sa speed ng unit ko?) | Sabi nya hindi daw pde ma deep freeze Vista | Mag partition sna aku dalawa, Ung isa naka freeze (Xp). Sbi nya sa akin pag na virusan na dw isang OS damay n din daw ung isang nkapartition? tama po b? At mag Avira nalang wag na mag deep freeze, Bale Os ko na ay Xp at Windows 7.

INTERNET - Smart Bro Recomended niya pero ang Globe Broadband tower antena kc mga aprox 400meters lng samen. Pde dn ata kmi mki kbit Pldt 2mbps sa 10units na na comupter shop pero bothered aku bka ala n dumating samin? (**We Only Need Skype Working Properly)

need some advise.. gusto ko kasi iupgrade ung video card ko..but i dont know where to start.. baka kasi magkamali ako sa pagbili e.. sabi kasi ng friend ko dapat daw compatible ung bibilhin ko sa pc ko..e hindi ko alamkung paano ko un malalaman..

proce - intel i3 / i5 or amd equivalent(kung mas mura) XD

vc - 1G 256bit kung ano maganda

memory - 4G kung ano ulet maganda

mobo - ala ako alam d2 hehe

power supply - pwede na ba 500w?

HDD - 500G sana

waa... sir, wala po palang win 7 support dun sa driver cd nung emx-amd785g-fxn.. ngayon nagdodownload pa po ako sa labas kasi hiniram ng pinsan ko yung broadband ko..


anyway,

kaya po kaya nito yung prototype, GTA4, DMC4, assassin's creed, crysis warhead at need for speed shift?

alin po sa mga larong yan ang kayang i-run.. nakakainis nag windows 7 pa ako ang dami pa palang di compatible. T_T
