Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.


An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

usage: ALL <-gaming,work,multimedia,multitasking,etc.

other miscellaneous requirements:

Processor: Core 2 Quad, pero any with equivalent features and capabilities, pwede rin.
Motherboard: Any, branded.
RAM: 4Gb (800-1333 Mhz)

Video Card: 1Gb 256bit (Palit)

Hard Drive: min.360Gb pero kung pwede pa mas mataas, sana mas mataas
Optical Drive: any,basta hindi madaling masira at w/ lightscribe sana.

Power Supply: any. basta di ulit madali masira at di nakakasira.>.<
Casing: any, basta quality.

monitor: min. 19",max. 22", I prefer AOC

Accessories: Keyboard,Mouse, <-- kung wireless, mas maganda. hehe

Kung 15k na budget with LCD monitor pwede kaya mga idol? Di naman kase ko mahilig masyado sa games. Bibili na kase ako. Ok lang ba 15k? Pabigay naman ng specs na swak.

WOW! San ako makakabili ng ganyan geno?!? :praise:

at saka nga pala, maganda kayang combination mga parts na toh?
win 7 balak ko main OS, + multi boot with Linux and Mac Leopard kung kaya :p

ask na rin ako ng murang UPS for home and safety usage lang- budget 2.5k or less.

sa PCHub sa Gilmore or at any PC Shops sa Gilmore. .though isa ang PCHub kasi ang mura magbenta.
ayos to sa Win7 and multi boot^^
hmm, hindi ko na lang alam kung anu ang magandang UPS na 2.5k budget, hindi rin kasi ako gumagamit ng UPS, hehe, let's hear na lang from others^^

the higher the ram, also depends on your OS. .
kung 32-bit siya, limit ng RAM at VRAM is upto 4GB only. .pero kung 64-bit yan, 2GB minimum ang RAM mo excluding VRAM yun. .so meaning, pag 64-bit OS mo, kahit ilan isalpak mo, bastah kaya ng motherboard ok lang. .
