Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Don't Suffice

budget: 10-15k CPU,
excluding monitor 32inch LED/speakers/mouse/keyboard

Query! Inexpensive and reliable, unlike some cheaper power supplies that are simply dangerous for your fragile computer parts that are sensitive to current fluctuations, ripples and electrical noise. Rated 34A on the 12V line, is one of the most important factor when it comes to choosing a reliable power supply. Hence, we recommend branded PSU over Casing w/ Cheap & low quality PSU.

help me naman to choose mga sir. ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC or MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G GeForce thanks.

If I were the buyer, I would pair it which will blend the parts.
So if my motherboard is ASUS Z97-A,, a perfect combo ---ASUS STRIX-GTX970
and if my motherboard is MSI Z97 Gaming 5,, a perfect combo ---MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G

choose wisely and make your RIG a uniform blend

Performance and Durability?? PCBs, not my concern... :giggle:
DIGITALLY speaking. hard core gamers and enthusiast fight over "DIGITAL NUMBERS". blah, blah,..all are rubbish talk.
REALITY speaking. you can't see the Actual difference. hmm maybe some Crispy Colors and...should pair it with a decent Monitor. i.e. BENQ 24" RL2455HM

Personally, seksi si MSI tignan. :giggle:
at the end of the day... kahit pa anong sabihin namin Symbianizers dito, ikaw pa rin naman ang pipili at bibili. Tingin ko, si MSI ang bibilhin mo. :giggle:

Query!
I've come up with a solution.

each rail is rated 18Amps more than enough (minimum IED standard) to limit the possible overload of a single rail.
One is capable of 12Vx30A delivering= 360W
Second is capable of 12x22A delivering = 264W

WTF is wrong with those chinese bastards. 600W is a lie. They did not even consider and isolate the 12V rail.
3.3v x input current (I'm confused with their marking. But whatever, i assumed that it's rated 10Amps) = 33W
5v x input current = 50W
sub-total = 88W

600W - 88W = 512W / 12V = 42.667Amps

Your system uses 42.5Amps and it's closely latch to the theoretical Ampere Rating. Kaya siguro may amoy/umiinit masyado PSU mo.

Intel Micro-ATX

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0-4.4GHz Turbo Quad-Core + HT 88W Unlocked Multiplier - around ₱ 12,900.00

1. Form Factor iyan.

2. oh, by the way, The difference in motherboard doesn't really affect gaming performance, one has more sata express ports and m.2 support, whereas one has less.

3. The answer is No. Intel i7-5960X and FX-9590 are the two most powerful desktop CPU on the market. I bet no one is selling(5960X) here in the Philippines. Nakakalulang, let say about ₱ 55,000.00 si i7-5960X (more than half a price compare to 9590) at ₱ 27,000.00 si FX-9590. But seriously?? Why would you give doubts to Intel Core i7-4790K? It is far most the best-selling i7 CPU throughout the world.

If you want to squeeze every MHz out of your CPU and push it to its limits, this is what you want. It offers top-notch cooling performance without being as noisy as other high-end all-in-one water CPU Cooling solutions. Installation is pretty damn straight-forward.

5. Choose between these two: ASUS STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 GeForce GTX 980 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 or Gigabyte GV-N980G1 GAMING-4GD G1 Gaming, GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5.
Do you have at least ₱ 35,000.00 in your pocket/bank accnt? then go with EVGA 06G-P4-4990-KR GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5

6. Don't you like MX100? okay fine. Go either with these two:
Crucial BX100 250gb sata (CT250BX100SSD1) ₱ 4,600.00
Crucial MX200 250gb sata (CT250MX200SSD1) ₱ 5,700.00

7. Anong 800+? di ko gets tanong mo. Hanggang 80 PLUS TITANIUM nga lang tayo e.. Lower power consumption na ang newer products, so it is not necessary to buy high-end PSU. diskarte lang iyan at dapat alam mo kung pano mag compute ng ikokonsumo ng Parts mo. If you really wanna go beyond 800W to 1000W, mapapa-aray kayo sa electric bill niyo.

Good choice dn mula procie, mobo, ssd, gpu. :)

Bunch of series Questions

At tingin ko rin kasi..ASUS ROG hanap mo na motherboard..you'll be needing as much as ₱ 150,000.00 (oh yes! I'm referring to TITAN) to balance your unit. +/- ₱ 60,000.00 yung build na naa sa itaas.

1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnpASmjWPB0 << budget

Lavish Board - ASUS Maximus FIGHER
ASUS Maximus VII Formula Red - ₱ 17,400.00
ASUS Maximus VII Impact Red - ₱ 12,600.00
ASUS Maximus VII GENE Red - ₱ 11,500.00
ASUS Maximus VII HERO Red - ₱ 11,960.00
ASUS Maximus VII Ranger Red - ₱ 9,950.00

Useless 'to na Motherboard kung di mo ma-fully optimized FEATURES niya. :giggle: Ano lang, Tempting at parang NINJA Motif niya.

Don't get confused. Same lang po iyan.

3. No. don't be convinced. :giggle: it's just that I like H105 above all according to my source. And honestly, I haven't tried water cooling. Hence, suggesting is all I can do.
Do build at your own risk. But when buying all the products in one stop shop, I guess some retailers offers FREE INSTALLATION.
Food for thought
Water vs Air. Which is better? That's a little subject, but both have merits.
Water is 'technically' better, but air is 'technically' more reliable and isnt too far off in raw performance either.
For a person as, apparently, clueless as whoever reading this, make out you are; just stick to air.
Noctua NH-D15 fact: They say, it strikes the perfect balance between performance and noise levels, while offering high reliability. We do not recommend it for your next phase of Rig. Because it’s so large and would prevent you from installing the video card that goes in the top PCI-Express 16x slot. But, when it comes to Air Cooling, NH-D15 is the King of All Kings. Second in line is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. (Westernian and Us Easternian Opinion)

4. As long as you find it appealing and...pricewise decision.

5. Apir! ahaha

6. Just tell me your QUOTATIONS and I'll try to help you compute it. (I'm not depending too much on extreme PSU)
