I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

actually, pareho lang naman, both uses 2/more cards to power up graphics, pero sa akin kasi, since ang nilagay mo is 9800GTX, i'd recommend na lang, using HD5750. .its features are more powerful than a 9800GTX, comparing the stream processors nung 9800GTX sa hd5750, 5750 has 16 stream processors more, and mastipid by 54W ang 5750 kesa sa 9800GTX. .

sa 40k na sinabi mo, sabi mo simula pa lang, so meaning dadagdag ka pa for any?may mabubuo akng build using the phenom II X4 and a HD5750. .pero hindi pa nakaCrossFire yun. .ganun din lang kung yung 930a + 9800GTX na gs2 mo. .

actually, you would not even know which processor is better, unless you're into benchmarking. .i tell you, AMD is going up the charts today as price/performance ratio, sulit na sulit!

ang tanong sir, kung hardcore gamer ka ba? sayang naman kasi kung ibababad mo ung budget mo sa 3 cards. bili ka nalang ng powerful card like 5870 or FERMI. at least, sulit mo ung budget mo. But it is your call and your budget though..

pero kung susundin ko si sir kevin. .since almost 9800GTX na price is averaging 5k, at gusto mo pa tri sli. .15k budget mo for a card. .let's say itaas natin konti 17k. .

Balak ko po sana mag-upgrade ng RAM ko pati HDD at PSU na din. Kingston 1GB PC6400 DDR2 800 po ung RAM ko, 160 ung HDD ko, samantalang Generic lang ung PSU. Ano po kaya ang pwede ipang-upgrade na compatible sa MSI K9N6PGM2-V V-PCIE/DDR2/Sound/Lan MOBO ko? Salamat po..

ayos lang yan sir. hard core gamer rin naman ako eh. kaso bumawe lang ako sa processor ko para iwas bottleneck. at saka hindi na pati ako mag exceed ng 17" tutal kaya naman ng 5770 with all max settings in the range of 17 inches.

hardcore gamer din ako sir, hehe, pero medyo mahal na yung procie at vc ko. .core i7 860 at msi r5850. .though sulit na sulit nmn ako sa build kong ito. .yung luma ko nmn n pc bngay ko na sa kapatid ko, pang hardcore gaming na rin, w/c is core2quad q9450 at gtx260 216sp. .

kaya lng nmn namin inadvise din na wag nlng sna ung 9800GTX, pra nmn updated nrin specs mo sir, hehe. .^^

upto 32gb po RAM nya. .

Sir please comment sa specs ng balak kong bilhin. More on gaming, downloading ang purpose ng pc. Ang prob ko kasi is ang kukunin kong procie at mobo. Prefer ko AMD.

over all performance pareho lang yan.. kaso lamang ang athlon II sa future upgrades and uses.

saka sa motherboard mo mag ECS 790GXM-AD3 ka nalang 4.5k ung (dati ko kasing preferrd build). yon lang. ddr3 user yang board na yan ha. pero kung gaming ka, tapos hindi ka naman mahilig mag video editing, rendering, etc. and prior mo is only gaming, mag phenom II ka nalang .. orayt.

maximum memory for 32 bit is 4GB but it cannot guarantee you a full 4GB system memory. Hence it will indicate only a less than 4GB.

while

in 64 bit you can install maximum of 32GB system memory depending on your motherboard that supports.

wla ka bang napapansing kakaiba sa pc mo? tulad nang mabagal ang respond at saka sa specific task medyo lag.. simula nung binili ko talga tong core i5 750 na to nagulo na ang pc world domination ko. aww di tulad nung athlon 64 5000+ ko wala ako naging prublema dun maliban sa overheat... (kulong kasi sa ilalim ng kama non)

hanggang maari, pinaka mataas na frequency for a better performance. pwede mo lagyan any ddr2 pero pag isa sa kanila, mababa ang frequency, magdowngrade sa kanya ung iba pang mas mataas sa knya. at saka mag dual channel ka nlang. same brand, same frequency clock, at the same time, at the same slot colors.

hindi ata kakayanin ng mga onboard graphics ang ganun na games, need talaga ng discrete cards. .

actually, maslamang ang Phenom II, though Athlon II is pinahinang version lang ng Phenom II. .comparing Phenom II X2 550 and Athlon II X4 620. .I'd choose Athlon II X4 620. .

why? quadcore and the difference is may L3 Cache ang Phenom II, Athlon II is L2, which I really can't tell the difference. .
magkano ba budget natin para sa pc sir?
