Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.70 GHz Skylake
MOBO: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon or MSI H170A Gaming Pro
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB Dual DDR4 2800 or GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB 2x4GB DDR4 3200
GPU: Palit GTX 950 StormX 2gb gddr5 128Bit or RX 470
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 64MB
PSU: Seasonic G-650 650Watts 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
Case: Cougar MX310 Rugged Gaming Midi Tower

bdget 35k sa dynaquest lahat nung price,
kaya z170 ung mobo ko balak ko mag palitan ng i5-6500 or i5-6600k pag nakaipon na,
same sa gpu pero rx 480 talaga dapat pero since mahal pa ngaun ok na ako sa rx 470 sana lang wag lang mahal d2,
what do you guys think?

I think kung talagang balak mo palitan in the near future yung CPU mo, you should go instead for the much cheaper G4400 na less than 3k lang para mas konti na lang yung pagiipunan mo for the much powerful i5's. kung di mo naman balak mag-OC, then go for H170 na mobo and i5 6500 na cpu. also, a much cheaper RAM na 2133 or 2400 mhz lang. though kung naka Z170 ka, kahit paano magagamit mo yung mahal na RAM even with a locked CPU :D and another, kung naman 6600k ang balak mo rin bilhin, you'll need a decent CPU cooler din since walang kasamang stock cooler which can't do anything much if you OC anyway :noidea:
also, try consider getting an SSD for your boot drive. less than 10 secs na bootup against a minute or so sa ordinary HDD. and most apps and games installed on it will also launch really fast.
about sa GPU... :noidea: you'll just have to compromise talaga. mga retailers natin dito sobra taga pag bago ang product at mataas demand. either wait for the prices to stabilize or take the plunge :slap: subukan mo rin maghanap ng mga 2nd hand sa TPC within your budget. a geforce 770 is still a better performer than a 960 but much cheaper if bought 2nd hand.

I think as long na hindi multi-core cpu intensive yung lalaruin mo, there won't be any problem

ok thnx  baka mag g4400 muna ako na procie tapos z170 mobo + 750ti or r3 370,
but im still eyeing on the rx 470 aib cards sana bellow 10k lang ung nga un,

HELP Pls anyone?:help:

mas ok sna kung itaas mo pa ng onti ung ram mo to 4gb or 8gb kung kaya,
mga kingston hyper x fury or corsair vengence nasa 1.2k to 2k lang un,
and last wala ka pang GPU,

@nubbest

gsto ko nga sana kht ung i5-6600k lang kaso hndi kaya paps at ung i7 nasa 14k ung locked at nasa 16k ung unlocked,
kaya sa mobo muna ako ng invest 35k kc ung budget ko for the CPU wala pa akong peripherals dun,
so baka mapagastos pa ako ng another 10k para dun,

I don't think youll save much on overclocking an i5 versus locked i7 since youll need top notch mobo and cooling. plus, the performance difference isn't that massive and if vulkan/dx12 takes hold of the industry, multi threads will be optimized for gaming, leaving your i5 to dust.

you said you have php35k budget. I quoted an i7 build for you and I got a total of php36k.

you wont need g650. even if we pair it with rx480 with an overvoltage of 6%, with ssd + hdd, 5x 140mm fans and fan controller, g550 is enough.

apparently, even in some dx11 titles, the stock i7 is a little bit better than an overclocked i5.

@pablo12

Ano ang mas future proof, i3 6100 or i5 6400. Sabi daw kasi ng iba ang i3 6100 mas maganda kesa i5 6400 ( budget wise ). Kaso ang gusto ko lang malaman po e kung sulit ba ang i5 6400 kesa sa i3 6100 for the next 3-5 years. Again maraming salamat po :)
