Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

For rendering purposes sana. Like 3ds max vray, sketchup vray, maya and lumion.

cpu, Intel Core i5-6500 3.20-3.60GHz Skylake - 9500php
mobo, MSI B150A Gaming M3 - 6480php
ram, Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2x4gb DDR4 2400 CL14 - 3150php
ssd, Crucial BX100 250gb - 4300php
hdd, 1TB WDC Blue/ Seagate - 2500php
odd, any DVDRW - 900php
gpu, Sapphire R9-380 NITRO 4gb - 10700php
psu, Seasonic M12II-620 EVO - 3680php
atx, Corsair Carbide Series 200R Window Edition - 3350php
hsf, Deepcool Ice Blade Pro V2 - 1300php

---45860php, non-OC 1080p gaming PC

gpu alternative:
MSI GTX 960 Twin Frozr Gaming 2gb - 10500php

Baka may mas maganda pang build dito.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 = 18480
Mobo: Gigabyte AB350 gaming 3 = 7050 (may mas mura pero maliit yung form factor)
PSU: seasonic s12ii 620w = 3090
RAM: gskill aegis ddr4 2400 16gb = 5750 (pwede bawasan to ng 8gb lang pero recommended ang 16gb for rendering)
SSD: Toshiba Q300 120gb = 2300
HDD: 1tb wd blue = 2350
Case: tecware edge = 1400
gpu: xfx rx470 = 9700 or (zotac 1060 mini 3gb = 9700)
Total: 50,130

since pang-work naman yan at mostly cpu bound yung mga programs mo, i could recommend na babaan na lang yung gpu to an rx460 (5200) or gtx1050 (5790), pwede rin ibaba yung PSU to 520w (seasonic s12ii 520 = 2750), liitan yung mobo to Gigabyte AB350 gaming 3 (6650)...

CPU: i7 7700k = 17790
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLi = 8860
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 = 3999
RAM: Gskill Trident Z 16gb 3200 dual = 5900
PSU: Seasonic G650 = 4850 (go for 850w or more if planning to do SLI)
Case: Cooler Master N400 = 2500
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO = 4750
Total: 48,649

walang GPU yang build na yan kaya programs that might benefit from a decent gpu will suffer. yung cpu cooler na yan ang best performing air cooler almost comparably ang performance sa mga 240mm liquid coolers. pwede mo rin palitan ng corsair h100 yung cpu cooler pero liquid coolers require a little bit of maintenance kaya i passed it since office pc yan. you can overclock this up to 5ghz or more.

samsung 850 evo. arguably the best consumer ssd when it comes to price:performance:reliability.

mahal ng mobo mo.. may specific feature ka ba na habol sa mobo na yan? maybe you should compare the chipset and motherboard features again before you commit on buying your mobo.
Gigabyte GA-B250M-GAMING 5 = 5870
dagdag ka ng SSD. kahit WD black pa yan, an SSD is so much faster than a mechanical hdd. kahit boot drive mo lang na 120gb... pero 240-250gb is recommended and higher if you can afford them. Samsung 850 evo 240gb is arguably the best 2.5" ssd. meron namang iba and would still perform well, just not as fast as the samsung. kahit toshiba q300 120gb (2300) or 240 (3450) panalo na

pahabol edit: may binuo ako sa previous page lang ng ryzen 1700 build for 50k. kung gagamitin mo yang pc for rendering, that build is very suited to rendering.

capable pa yang system mo. ang tanong lang naman: how much are you willing to spend?
rx460 = 5200
gtx1050 = 5700
gtx1050ti = 7050
gtx1060 3gb or rx470 4gb = 9700
