Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Hi mga sir. Can you suggest a build for Ryzen 1300X?

Thank you sa suggestion.

http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/...offee-Lake-Core-i3-8350K-Core-i3-8100-CPU.png

their product line-up is just getting more scattered by each generation :noidea:

pero isipin nyo, because of AMD, intel will now bring us i5/i7 performance for i3 prices :peace::cool:

i doubt that :noidea:
kung susundan mo yung trend nila, sandy bridge and ivy bridge = 1155, haswell & broadwell = 1150, skylake & kabylake = 1151... kaya we should have expected a new socket with their new release... pero mukhang 1151 pa rin... pero di lang compatible :noidea:
dapat daw kasi next year pa ang expected release nila ng coffee lake... kaso nagulat ata sila sa ryzen kaya bigla nilang finanalize yung mga supposed to be upcoming line-up nila

i think they'll stick with their current prices then eventually phase out the older generation by stopping the manufacturing and supply.
hindi sila bababa sa presyo ng ryzen in my opinion :noidea: i think they still have the advantage of better IPC than ryzen as of now kaya they can charge for their products a little higher

4c/8t or 6c/6t?

for gaming po. mukhang i5 na coffee lake next upgrade ko. sana same price range lang din ng last gen

depende kasi sa presyo yan. if you look at ryzen 5 1400 vs 1600, php2.5k lang agwat. most pinoys naman, we hold on to our computers for a very long time. yung mga mayayaman lang naman ang mas madalas magpalit ng pyesa. in the long run, mas value-wise ang 6c/12t.

RX Vega 56 & 64 benchmarks are out

summary ng benchmarks:
Vega 56 is generally more powerful than a 1070... unless of course yung laro mo is more optimized for Nvidia :sigh: mas mataas pa ang overclocking potential both ng GPU at ng Memory frequency  OC Vega 56 could almost reach up to 1080 stock performance when overclocked properly.
ang Vega 64 naman mas mahina generally against sa 1080... at wag umasang aabutan ang 1080ti :sigh: mahina rin ang overclocking potential :noidea: but can beat the 1080 stock when it does.

overall, same speed sa GTX 1070 kaso double the power consumption lang talaga :slap:

yun nga sir. mas maganda ung pang matagalan kase di naman rin tayo papalit palit. nagsisi tuloy ako bat ako nag settle sa i3 :lmao:

just watched Hardware Unboxed recent Vega 56 game benchmark. halos lamang ng kaunti si 1070 :( though reference ung gamit nyang vega 56 and ung pinang tapat e AIB na 1070.

if we believe chatters going around, vega is supposedly a transitional gpu. raja didnt start vega and polaris but he had inputs. navi will be his baby. supposedly, navi will be the ryzen equivalent for gpu. this is an excuse by amd fanboys but maybe its true. ryzen was thought like 4 years ago, i think. cant remember exactly when amd got jim keller. but it looks like nvidia beat them to the punch as usual since they started projects similar to infinity fabric.

Depende sa budget mo. Sa mobo, any b350 mobo pwede mag oc. Goodluck
