Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

di ata kasya lalo na kung lalagyan mo ng liquid cooling at rgb effects. cpu AIO liquid coolers already costs +5k. kung yung i7 8700k ang kukunin mo, you'll really need an AIO cooler dahil mainit ito at walang kasamang stock cpu fan.
most CAD rendering softwares benefit from more cores. so far, maybe the best performer nyan ay ang i7 8700k (20k) OC to around 5ghz. you can maybe get a similar performance with an AMD r7 1800x (or 1700) OC to around 4ghz with more cores and threads pero mas mababa ang frequency... mobo naman, nasa 10k ang Z370 na mobo. sa AMD, pwede ka mag-b350 na around 5-7k lang or X370 na around 8k ang starting price.
you'll also need around 16gb of RAM which costs around +11k. though pwede na muna ang 8gb (+5k) at upgrade na lang pag bumaba na RAM prices.
you'll also want an NVME SSD (starts at 7k) dahil high end na ang processor mo. pwede namang standard SSD lang na nasa around 4~5k ang 240~250gb. tapos another couple of terabytes of HDD storage for your projects, games and stuff :naughty:.
finally, the video card. since hindi naman hardcore gaming ang habol mo, pwede na siguro gtx1050ti (+7k)or gtx1060 3gb (+11k).
misc stuff: true rated PSU (4k), case with tempered glass (+3.5k), RGB strips (no idea on prices)

meron nadin pla aq ssd 120gb

bili ka ng video card. there is very little you can achieve kung aasa ka lang sa internal graphics ng processor mo. kahit na overclock mo yan to 5ghz. ang mga laro ay kelangan ng malakas na graphics processor para mabawasan ang stress and load sa cpu. kung cpu mo pa ang magko-compute ng graphics, talagang kokonti lang ang kayang ilabas nyan

ok na ba to mga paps sa 10k, 2nd hand, 6 months used

cpu:intel core i3 6100 6thgen
mobo: biostar h110mhv3
ram:hyper x fury blue series 8gb
hdd: 1tb
gpu: built in
psu:tru rated
case:generic
monitor: 18.5"

salamat po in advance sa response! :)

pwede na rin  may monitor na eh... considering na may 8gb of RAM na kasama agad... cpu at ram pa lang bawi ka na agad sa presyo against a brand new system. dagdagan mo na lang ng video card kung balak mo maglaro dyan. tapos lagyan mo ng ssd at palitan ng monitor na 1080p.
psu, di ako naniniwalang true rated yan. give me a brand and model at kung anong "metal" ang rating nya.

@themonyo ok na poh ba tong build na to?

PROCESOR: intel g4600
MOBO: giga h110m-h
RAM: 2x4gb corsair vengenge
HDD: 250gb(os) and 500gb seagate(files)
CASING: tecware alpha
PSU: corsair vs550w 80+
------------------------------------------------------------
plan
V.CARD: gtx 1050 or 1050ti
MONITOR: 1080p

ok na poh ba tong build na to? salamat sa reply and more powers

recommended PSU: seasonic s12ii 520w (2850) or evga 450bv (2160) or evga 500bv (2620)

Yes sir aupgrade ko po PSU ko same time ng GPU.. Okay naman po un diba if I go for GTX 770?

Pero if di ako makahanap ng kahit 4gb gtx 770 by the end of this month, I guesa.mukang mag gtx 1050ti nalang ako.. Need your feedback sir hehe

personally, i would skip the 700 series dahil sa power consumption nila :noidea:
for me, the power consumption in not worth the output performance :noidea:

ahh ok adwadwaddwadf

:noidea:

Made up my mind sir. Galax 1050ti OC dual fan low profile nalang hehe kasi gilmore daw kami bili ni papa (sasamahan niya ko since kanya din naman daw pera hahaha) and nagranong ako sa gilmore, mukang wala na talagng 70p series. If hindi seasonic mabili ko sir na psu, is it okay if vs 450 nalang? May uograde path po ba vs450? (One at a time, aupgrade ko pa, case then add fan na may leds)

(Doing a 50 per day challenge baka sa december this year upgrade ulit me)

Plano ko bilihin is Ryzen 3 or i3 7th gen

you have to replace it kung hindi kaya ang system load mo
pero dahil most modern pc components na lumalabas ay bumababa ang power consumption (except rx vega 64 :slap:), 500w is already good. unless may balak ka ng mga high end components lalo na ang video card which is the most power hungry component. also, for maximum efficiency on power consumption, it is highly recommended that your system load sould be around 50~60% of your psu rating.

for a new system builder na pa-isa-isa ang balak bilhin, i would recommend buying the following parts in this order since the prices barely change if at all:
PSU, HDD, case, cpu cooler, other peripherals, etc.
yung remaining to build the system, i.e., CPU, Mobo, RAM, dapat bilhin mo na ng sabay sabay pero pwede mo ihuli ang GPU unless ryzen ang balak mong build or kung meron ka pang spare na gpu.

since may existing unit ka na, i would recommend this pattern instead dahil pwede mo magamit agad:
SSD, HDD, GPU
then, 2nd batch na yung PSU, Case, peripherals.

asus h110
16gb ddr4 2133
g4560
CPU COOLER CORSAIR H60
GT 1050
3 FANS SA CASING

PAG NAG GAMES AKO NAG LALAG TALAGA... KAHIT GTA V O KAHIT ANUNG LARO NAG LALAG

:noidea: what's the point in asking that now?
Personally, i would rather get an evga 450bv or 500bv na bronze rated.
And yes, mababa lang power requirement ng 1050ti and you won't even need a 6pin pcie power connector

I don't get it :noidea:
Yung processor tdp mo rated for 54w only kaya hindi dapat umabot yan sa ganyang temps :panic:
At naka AIO liquid cooler ka pa na dapat less than 50 degrees lang Temps mo even at full load
Please post pictures ng loob ng system mo, if you can label the connections mas maganda, pati na rin screenshot ng hwmonitor or kung ano man gamit mong monitoring software
