I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

kasi parang mali nag lalag parin nung ginagamit ko sya

Overall okay naman 'tong build mo sir. Okay pa naman intel lalo na kapag gaming (sakaling ito ang purpose ng build mo, sir). Pero check / consider mo sir yung Ryzen 5 2600 + A320 mobo (or the cheapest B450 mobo).

Sa ibang parts naman ito:

RAM : Kingston Hyper X 16GB
- Good choice naman.

SSD : WD Green SSD 240GB @ 1800
- Good choice din pero check sa ibang shop para makamura ng kaunti.

HDD : Seagate 500GB @ 1800
- Okay din naman ito pero konting dagdag na lang makaka-1TB ka na.

GPU : Inno3D GTX 1050 Twin 2gb DDR5 @ 6250
- Good choice din pero konting dagdag na din lang makaka-GTX 1050 Ti ka na. Or kung di ka naman maselan sir, try mo din check used / second hand market. Around 4k - 4.5k yung nakikita kong price ng used / second hand GTX 1050 Ti. Same goes for RX 570. Pwede mo dagdag pang upgrade sa ibang components ng rig mo yung massave mo dito in-case na mag-opt ka for used / second hand, kagaya ng sa PSU na napili mo.

PSU : Thermaltake TR2 S 500W @ 1950
- Medyo bias / subjective ko dito dahil naka Thermaltake TR2 S 600W ako, sir. Pero on the negative side. As much as possible, kung kaya, palitan mo 'tong choice mo. Pili ka sa mga brands like Seasonic, EVGA, etc.

Saan mo pala ginagamit 'tong rig mo, sir?

Kung typical office / school works / casual gaming, add ka lang ng isa pang 4gb ram. Pwede ka din mag-add ng SSD and/or HDD. Now kung gaming naman, madami-dami kang papalitan / dadagdagan gaya ng Processor, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, at PSU. Which I won't recommend dahil mas maganda na mag-change platform na lang kung ganito kadami ang papalitan / idadagdag mo.

hi poh... noob here....

mag bubukas kasi ako ng laptop so its not about my laptop, ang tanong ko ay kung anong thermalpaste brand ang dapat gamitin? kasi may mga thermalpaste ang presyo ay nasa 60peso pababa,, kaya hindi ako sigurado kung dapat bang pagtiwalaan or hindi...

ps: ok lang ba mag tanong dito sa thread mo papsi tungkol sa cpu ng laptop?

Last year, bumili ako ng Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut sa Lazada. Unfortunately hindi siya epektib sa luma kong laptop (i5 3rd gen), at sa bagong desktop (i9 9900K). 5.5 grams yung binili ko, kaya sayang kasi nagdadalawang isip na akong gamitin ulit.

This year, balak kong mag-test ng ibang brands naman:

Gelid GC-Extreme 2g
Arctic MX-4 4g

Sa WDcomputers ako bumili. Ang sabi ng seller, 1 gram daw is equal to 2-4 applications na.

So, pwede na sa iyo yung Arctic MX-4 2g, Php 280 + delivery.

boss meron kasi akong desktop computer na processor ay FX-6300 ang gamit kong Video Card XFX 7790 gusto ko sana mag upgrade, ano po kaya yung magandang pamalit sa video card ko,

Alin po kaya sa dalawa yung ok na pamalit

AMD Radeon R9 280
AMD Radeon RX 570

8gb RAM ko, PSU ko 650 watts na corsair ang ibang specs ng comp ko

o meron po kaya kayong alam na ibang video card na pede sa processor ko

Uu. Umaabot ako ng 83 C max sa Red Dead Redemption 2 @ 1440p HDR; 80 C average @ 80% fan speed, 99% average usage, Hardware Unboxed graphic settings. Same with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Sa GTA V 1440p at Zelda: Breath of the Wild CEMU 2160p, nasa 70 C lang with 60-70% usage.

3 years old na GPU ko, Zotac AMP Extreme. 94 C ang max temp niya according to official nVidia specs.

1. Monitor 24 Inches ok na ba?

Yes. Pero resolution matters hindi yung size ng monitor.

2. Processor AMD or INTEL ?

Sa budget mong 30k, I'd go with AMD.

3. STORAGE SSD or HDD ?

Both. Mura na lang 240GB na SSD (sata) ngayon.

4. MOTHERBOARD

Kahit na ano depende sa mapipili mong procie at basta pasok sa budget mo. Sa case ng AMD, yung cheapest B450 motherboard siguro pwede na.

5. GRAPHICS CARD NVIDIA OR AMD?

Depende sa tasks / needs mo. Bias pa din talaga ako sa NVIDIA sa case na 'to.
6. 8GB RAM ? Is this ok?

Okay lang naman, basta single stick kukunin mo. Para easy upgrade na lang sa susunod.

7. Case

Depende din sa trip mo. May mga case from our local brands na okay like Tecware, Rakk, etc. na under 2k-3k.

8. Power Supply

Anything na bronze rated at 600W pataas. Seasonic pa din! Hahahaha.
