Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

As far as i Know 3GB lang ang kaya mautilize ng Win 7 32bit
pero may mga Software Tweaks like

asrock XfastRam bundled ito or proven ito sa mga Asrock motherboards not sure ako sa hindi, it will utilize your rams kahit naka 32bit ka lang

CL8 vs CL9 konti lang ang difference nito, In Fact sa Benchmark mo lang makikita ang difference between the two, in real world Applications hindi mo sya mapapansin unless you overclock it . About naman sa PSU Mo better not get any generic PSU`s sir, its better to be safe than sorry , Buy at least 80 Plus Certified PSU`s sir saka kadalasan ito din ang magdidikta ng Specs na mabibili mo at PSU ang mag serve as heart of your system pang matagalan din ito dahil kung mapapansin mo kahit mag upgrade ka huli mo na nauupgrade or napapalitan ang PSU.Another thing better buy i5 2400 nalang po sir if your not into OCing, for what po ba ang rig nyo sir? for Gaming po ba? or for Editing Pictures or videos? kasi napansin ko mataas ang RAMs mo

sa Casing naman meron

Casing, NZXT Source 210 Classic Midtower Chassis cheaper pero probably better cooling on stock madami ding options for additional Fans

wow..thanks so much po..for gaming po (gusto ko ma-run future games) :) kaya just in case po sana in the future kung option na lang tlga ay mag-OC, web and app development, picture and video editing..

anu po pala pinaka-ok na 3k-4k 80plus rated PSU? how about po sir sa board ko? P8Z68-V PRO or P8Z68-M PRO na lang po? more on OCing or tweaking po ba yung advantage ng P8Z68-V Pro? dun din po sana ako sa mas tatagal sa daily use.. :):salute:

wala syang conflict sa 64-bit drivers kasi di ka naman makakapag-install ng 64-bit drivers sa 32-bit Windows. although meron talagang drivers na nagkakaproblem like nokia phone drivers based on my experience, alternative lang kasi talaga yan and not meant to replace 64-bit OS. In fact I am the author of the patch. xD

i7@4200mhz is an overclock then coupled with a high end video card so yung PSU must be reliable. Eto mga picks ko:

Corsair TX750 V2, Antec 750W true power new, Seasonic M12II 750W
Of course you can pick much better psu than this. 80Plus Bronze lang ang mga to. Kung kaya mo higher wattage or 80plusGold then good for you. :)

Casing - depende sa budget mo dyan. Magkano ba?

Optical Drive - I'm not picky on this so pinakamura lang pinipili ko dyan.

*Edit*

Nga pala yung mobo is Rampage 3 and that's an lga1366 socket mobo. Anong i7 ba ang balak mong bilhin?
