[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

sa HDD paps hindi ako masyado maka decide eh Seagate Barracuda or Western Digital Caviar? kung price punta ako sa WDC, pero quality at durability kasi tinitignan ko, accepted ba yan sa dalawa? may nabasa kasi ako mas mataas cache ng WD 64mb daw? at yung sagot dito natawa ako haha

sa experience ko mas madali masira ang mga bagong labas ng seagate barracuda ngaun,,ung mga luma ang matitibay,ung mga ide pa ung socket pero nung naglabas na ng sata3 mas madaling masira ung seagate ngaun kesa sa western digital..go ka sa western digital..

sir gandang araw ho. pede pa check naman to kung compatible lahat to? alangan ako sa psu e saka balak ko kasi punuin ng fan yung case

pa advice na rin ho kung may mas ok kayu na build dyan na swak sa 19k, basta quad core. salamat hu ng marami.

@janz di kaya ako magsisi sa rig na ito? hehe. okay naba talaga to or what?



ilan kaya bayad ko sa kuryente per hour nyan haha..

ung videocard mo lang ung malakas kumunsumo ng kuryente yari ka jan..77watts lang ung i5, tataas ung wattage nun kpg inoverclock mo.

@janz yung tinanung ko sayo kanina about sa 6850 at 7770 - may nagtanung kasi sakin nun, nung sinabi ko yung sinabi mo ito sinabi nya..

Sir mali po, hindi lang core and memory speed ang basis sa lakes ng vcard pati shader units, buswidth size etc.

HD 6850 256bit
HD 7770 128bit

dyan pa lang alam mo na iiwanan ng 6850 ang 7770
yung dati ko palang 6850 kya ang Arkham City ng max setting pwera PhysX sa full1080p resolution, sa BFBC2 nmn max din w/ 2x AntiAlias
malakas ang 6850, wag kayo magpalito sa 7770. tsaka madali lang nmn mag check ng reviews sa google

Di marunong yung nag build nyan sa PCX.

May 20k build a few pages back. Stretch ka nalang ng onti at maganda yung build dun.

@janz yung tinanung ko sayo kanina about sa 6850 at 7770 - may nagtanung kasi sakin nun, nung sinabi ko yung sinabi mo ito sinabi nya..

-anu masasabi mo jan? expert ka eh hehe

Wala naman mali sa sinabi nya 256bit is better than 128bit but then again there are other factors to look at:

1) Offers better value for the money
2) Better technology
3) Lower power consumption
4) Better overclocker

Simple lang, mas mahal kasi ang Asus. ASRock can give the same features for a cheaper price.

Kung familiar ka lang sa overclocking market, nagkakaubusan ng stocks ng ASRock Z77 Extreme4 dahil bang for the buck yung features at performance.

nyay aku lang hu nag trip nyang bild na yan. atat na kasi e. haha, pricelist lang ng pcx pinag basihan ko.
saan hu ba kayu nag babase?

Ay sorry hehe. Wag ka sa PCX tumingin ng parts mas mataas ang presyo dun ng most parts. Back read ka lang dito.

Sa 90k na budget: mobo ok or choose ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME-Z,vcard choose gtx 670,proce ok much better yung bagong version ivy bridge but you need also a mobo that supported intel ivy bridge chipset,sa hdd go for 2TB seagate baracuda 7200RPM,for ssd go for OCZ 120GB Vertex 3 SATA 6Gb/s,for psu go for corsair 800w or 1000w,for case go for full tower case (any brand basta full tower)but check mo muna yung case kung may mounting area for ssd.for cpu cooler go for corsair H100.

Ito sir own dif ko lang ito about ssd.ang ssd kasi sir is good for video/photo editing,copying files,installing software and also running an apps.super bilis kasi ng ssd mag response sir.ayun sa nabasa ko 6 to 10 times ang bilis mag write ng ssd compared sa hdd.tsaka maliit lang siya kaya hindi maingay katulad ng hdd.kung naka ssd ka sir at running i5 or i7 proce super bilis mag boot ng system mo.hindi pa nabubuo yung windows logo nasa desktop kana. Yung nga lang mahal talaga ang price ng ssd 2 to 3 times din ang price compared sa hdd.

Basta sir pang boost up ng speed sa system yun na yun kung gusto mo further explanation about sa use ng SSD(SOLID STATE DRIVE) meron tayong kaibigan na si mr.google

parang extra storage mo na super bilis .. yung iba jan nila nilalagay ung mga installer nila .. like OS or mga important files.. ang " CHISMIS " khit daw i copy mo ung file galing sa SSD ng super bilis and hindi sya corrupted .. PERO SYEMPRE WLANG REVIEW ABOUT DUN CHISMIS NGA EH AHAHAHAHA

core 2 duo E7400 @ 2.80ghz
2gb memory
500gb hard disk
