[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Dalawang GPU of the same model ikabit mo? Hehe mahirap po ba intindihin ang CrossFire at SLI?

oo,alam ko yan, pero sir pkicheck ng board (p8z77 m).

x4 ung isa pcie. panu mgwwork ang crossfire jan.

Magwowork ang CrossFire d'yan.
Pero, the 2nd card will be slow.

Mabagal ang 'pag process ng 2nd card.
Kaya, not recommended ang mga ganyan.

Buy another motherboard.
Or, buy a higher GPU na lang.

Pero, the 2nd card will be slow.

Mga sir tanong lng po. Yung mobo ko po kasi na Asus p8h61 m lx ay my overclocking or optimizing features. Pag ka ginawa ko po ba ito, hindi magkakaproblem yung unit ko. Intel I3 2120 CPU at Palit GT 630 yung GPU ko. Thanks

Balak ko palitan yung graphics card ko (8400 gs) ng Geforce 630gt compatible kaya ito?

Mga sir tanong lng po. Yung mobo ko po kasi na Asus p8h61 m lx ay my overclocking or optimizing features. Pag ka ginawa ko po ba ito, hindi magkakaproblem yung unit ko. Intel I3 2120 CPU at Palit GT 630 yung GPU ko. Thanks

Hindi man pwede magoverclock sa H61 chipset na motherboard. Features lang yan para mapalitan ang multiplier ng processor, at 33 ang max multipliers ng i3 2120. Hindi pwede sumobra sa 33.

Hindi man pwede magoverclock sa H61 chipset na motherboard. Features lang yan para mapalitan ang multiplier ng processor, at 33 ang max multipliers ng i3 2120. Hindi pwede sumobra sa 33.

So much better po na d ko na galawin yung settings? Tska ano po yung GPU Optimizer? Ano mangyayari sa GPU nun? Mag oOC or papalakasin lng?

mga kuya. Bibili po akög cpu, anu ba maganda. Part by part or buo, gusto kasi ng parents ko buo, ako gusto ko part by part , di naman ako marunong magbuo ng pc,
kung part by part pa advise naman 20k w/out monitor. Pang dota 2, pr0gramming pang dl ng mga matagal na hours.

ahm wat if ksama na monitor na 20" or 21.5" sa 35k? anu po mgndang build?
