Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi po! Please help me build a good pc :) I want it for my 18th bday. Nakakasawa sa laptop, I originally opted for an iMac but it seems na i have to wait for 4-6 weeks bgo ko mkuha so.. un. ._.

budget: approx 100-120k
usage: video processing and editing, intense gaming, drawing (autocad, photoshop)

other miscellaneous requirements: sound card na mgnda :)
Processor: i7 930 or higher hopefully ._.
Motherboard: err.. dunno anything about mother boards ._.
RAM: at least 8gb

Video Card: at least 1gb

Hard Drive: 1 tb - 2 tb
Optical Drive: dvd rw

Power Supply: err. o.o
Casing: bsta cute lol :))

monitor: i wanted a 27" :| pero okei na 21-27"

Accessories: keyboard na maaus XD preferably can process 7 keys at once o.o ung tipong pag click ko sa 7 ng sbay mcclick lhat o.o.. tska printer with scanner :) kung ksya pa budget ko XD

wla pa kong mouse and keyboard and speakers coz gling ako sa laptop :| sna po matulungan nyu ko. :) ty

All prices are from PC Hub. mamaw build :praise: sa mga ganyan na build, since 2 na malakas na vide card gamit..kahit i-overclock yung cpu to 3.6GHz-3.8GHz, nka water cooling nmn kung sakali :) tripple channel memory ang LGA1366, and OK na ang 6GB :) and siguro naman naka 64-bit OS ka,kung hindi useless na ng6GB ka..hehe :)

tol pangit ba ipang OS ang 1TB WD Blue? pansin ko lang lagi mababa ang pinang OOS.. or for safety lang sa virus or corrupt kaya hiwalay ?

ewan ko, pero ever since kasi..ganun na ako hiwalay yung pang OS/Applications sa DATA (docu,music,movies,pics,etc.) mo mismo..

ang nakikita kong dahilan dito kung sakali nagcrashed navirus, accident na nareformat at nacorrupt yung sa OS save mga DATA... pero dahil tpidi mode.. siguro 1TB nako all in all:lol: wala naman siguro masamang epekto ano?

Sir kapag po ba mag-upgrade ka ng RAM from DDR2 to DDR3 is processor compatibility din?

I have an AM2 processor.

if for gaming for me an X3 is enough. like the Athlon II X3 440. ipon nlang for your ddr3 ram and vc.

haha nilubos lubos ko na kasi. Wala kasi akong party shiz na usually ginagawa ng magdedebut, at ayoko rin nang gnun. Kaya pinagbigyan nalang ako ng parents ko. Matagal tagal ko rin magagamit yung pc na un. :salute:

haha! Ewan. nakalimutan ko maglagay ng pen tablet. Merun ba sa pc hub ng wacom intuos? preferably 6x8?
