[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

try nyo icheck ang cpu nyo kung ilan ang rating sa game-debate.com..like sa akin ang processor ko nsa 6 star and ung videocard ko 7 star na bubuoin ko..try nyo din kung kaya din ba ng cpu nyo ung mga games na andun like crysis 2 etc..

processor at video card lang pala tinitignan mo

well, i really wouldn't just go for rating..imho lang naman..

patulong naman po nasira MOBO ko. ano po maganda ipalit na MOBO?

Procie: Intel Core2duo E7400
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce 8600gt 1gb
Memory: DDR2 2gb(2x1gb)

ung combo po sana na MOBO, balak ko po kasi magpalit ng DDR3 eh.

Sir pa tulong naman ng magandang build ng cpu na pangmatagalan kasi ito cpu ko d2 2006 pa ina-upgrade ko lang ram,vd card saka hdd kc yun mga stock bumigay na heavy user po ako .hehe pero habang tumatagal muka nahihirapan na sya mag catch up sa panahon ngayon lalo na sa mga online games. cpu nalang po sana ang kailangan ko kasi yun accessories pwede pa naman gamitin. budget kopo is around 15-20k best for online games mmorpg is my favorite, internet browsing/video browsing , watch movies via DVD or youtube. salamat po sa tutulong..looking forward po sa mga post nyo... :praise:

Patulong din po mga sir. kelangan ko po ng isang magandang build ng pc. budget ko po mga more or less 30T. Sana kaya ung intel i7, me maayos na video card at at least 6gb DDR3 na memory. mas maayos kung mailalagay nyo ung brand at model ng parts para madali ang pagbili.

sir patulong nman...nabili ko na ung cpu ko kso nung nailagay na lht ng mga hardware pag on nmin ayaw magdisplay..pero umaandar ang mga fan ng cpu and exhaust fan and walang beep..dpat dba may beeo and medyo may ground ung casing nya...ok lang ba un??chineck ko na rin ung ram nya pero ayaw pa rin nya..ano ba mga possible problem??bagong bago lang kakabuo lang knina ung cpu

sir baka naka plug sa dedicated vc kung meron man try mo muna saksak sa built in tapos configure mo sa bios para magamit mo yung dedicated vc.

sir kht sa bios hndi nga nagdidisplay..tska wala pang dedicated videocard built lang..pag on ng cpu wala tlgang display na lalabas

check connections, lahat ng wirings.
