[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

depende. basta ba kakasya ung MoBo mo eh. kung supported ng case n yan ang ATX MoBo eh kasya lahat ng parts mo. sa mobo ka lang dedepende

un bang GPU mo eh TI or non-TI?

un bang HDD mo eh SATA3?

sa Case mo, mas gusto ko ung Cooler Master Haf 912 Advance, same price din sila. pero mas asteg tinggnan ang 921 at mas maganda sa Cooling System. makakapag lagay ka kz ng 2pcs 120mm fan sa harapan at my kasama na din syang 120mm fan sa taas. at pwede mo din lagyan ng isa pang 120mm fan sa likod at side panel + acrylic side panel din naman sya. meron din syang cable management holes

ikw nasasau yan, kanya kanyang trip ng case yan ehehe

ni compute ko ung specs mo 500watts lang ok na True Rated naman yan

- 1050w PSU is too much for the setup , unless gusto mo nga naman talga ng triple SLI
- gawin mo ng 8 gig mem mo kung may budget ka especially if your into multitasking
( gaming , internet DL , video converting all at the same time)

@donna_catz

- 600 w PSU would be sufficient for your need but if you have plans of upgrading GPU in the future 700 w should be a good choice .

for both donna_catz and locar = do you have plans of overclocking your processors might as well buy a HSF , if not i'd rather settle for the i52500k since performs almost on par with the i72500k and it is also overclockable the extra cash you could add up for other accessories or upgrade to a better casing , mouse , keyboard or whatever ..

i52500k uses less power on load or on idle ..

both are good overclockers so might as well prepare for a good HSF but the stock fan can give you a stable overclock of 4.4 if your planning on doing it ..

Suggestion lng naman .... whichever processor your going to buy would be a great deal ..

sir bubukas yun sa bios ,toggle mo lng options madali lng yan change mo lng first boot to dvdrom , press F10 to save settings

salpak mo CD/installer mo magiinstall na yun at may options for custom installation then create partition , then install on which drive you want to install the OS ,.... then just wait for it to finish .. once done install the drivers ... windows 7 OS yan...

OT na tayo ...

- nakabili ka na ba ng pc mo ?
