[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

- 5770 vapor x // 6770 rebranded 5770 same lng yan preference na lng or ung 6790 ng power color 900 pesos na lng dadagdag mo 256 bit na yan at according to users with the latest drivers of ATI 11.6 maganda performance nyan ... kung nvidia naman gts 450 pa rin dahil na rin sa physics support .. wag kang mag 550 ti card to avoid yan..

Magandang araw, mga bossing. Gusto ko lang sana magpatulong sa pagbuo ng CPU. As much as possible po, gusto ko sana 'yung 'pinakamatinding build' na sa target price na ibibigay ko. Open po ako sa lahat ng suggestions.

OS: Windows 7 64-bit (pwede rin 32, pero mas preferred ko ang 64)

Sa gaming mas malakas build 1 dahil sa GPU nyan .. sa Build 2 mas malakas CPU .
parehas na built kayang kaya mapa work related or latest games kaya nyan ..


Kung gusto mo ATI na videocard pwedeng
6770 1gb/128bit priced at 5,200 or power color 6790 1gb/256bit around 5,900..
pero sa lahat ng GPU na binigay ko panalo so 560 ti lahat ng latest games at high resolutions kayang kaya

sa casing any 600 pesos generic casing would do kung tight ang budget mo ... pwede rin Black Ice na casing 1,500 pesos

, you dont need a cpu cooler if you dont have plans on overclocking.

mga boss iisa lang ba ang size ng power supply ? i mean ung laki nila ?
kakasiya kaya ung HEC RAPTER 500w sa PC casing ko ?
mamaya na kasi ako bibili e ..
saka ok lang ba kahit 500w na generic ung AVR ko ?

Pa set up naman po ng PC=CPU, monitor, mouse and keyboard budget ko is 20k.
