[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

by august pa siguro ako makakabibili ng vc .
Nagadvise na sakin si sir acidbiscuit kaso natabunan na ng ibang post, hanapin ko nalang mamaya . 5k budget ko for VC.

Problem ko lang kc now ung pc ko ngayon sira yung psu .
And yung casing maliit lang eto yung size.

100% sure po ba kayo dun sa size ng psu na hec kakasya sa casing ko?

100% sure ako na same size sila ng generic psu.. basta standard ATX.. tinignan ko yung case na tommade na sinabi mo.. kita ko standard naman.. so pasok yan.. kasi bro ko hec rapter II psu niya..
ayan pati si allain dating hec rapter II user..
kung medyo duda ka mas ok dalhin mo case mo kung san ka bibili para sure talaga na swak
about sa vc na 5k budget mo.. maganda nirecommend nila..

palagay ko mukang hindi magkakasya.
Mukang kelangan ko atang bumili ng casing.
Eto dimension ng hec 150mm * 140mm *86mm
yun psu ko 120mm 100mm 60mm. Sinukat ko using ruler .

kahit papano kailangan mo pa din mag invest sa magandang case.
why?? airflow.. psu orientation.

ang kagandahan sa case, mas mapapatagal ang buhay ng mga pc parts mo. ex. ang psu mo.
if nasa top mount ang psu mo, lahat ng heat na manggaling sa rig ay mapupunta sa psu. downside? psu life..

pero if magandang case na mura, ex: Inwin Dragon Slayer @ 2500
bottommounted psu, 4 fans na kasama, meron fan para sa hdd.
san ka pa diba? Invest on airflow. Invest on case. Minsan bale wala ito sa iba. pero para sa akin, maganda pa din maganda ang airflow. lalu ka na magvideocard ka in future.

Mga sir, patulong naman po sa pagbuo ng CPU (wala pong monitor, CPU lang talaga). Ito po sana ang mga gusto ko:

Function: hardcore video editing, photo editing and sound editing; music and movie storage; pero as much as possible, ALL-AROUND BUILD na po sana

Budget: 30,000 (sana po ma-maximize ang budget sa 'malupit' na na CPU)

Optical Drive:
Power Supply:
Casing: (gusto ko sana Aerocool Syclone II Black)
CPU Cooler: (kung kailangan lang)

normally kasi ang HEC Rapter II kasya sa mga generic casing kasi same size sya ng mga generic psu ...
plus just like villain_alain said ang problemas sa generic e , airflow ,orientation ng psu etc etc

magkakatalo na lng sa casing na gamit mo ... pero sa tingin ko wala dapat maging problemas sa mobo mo...

regarding sa casing i agree airflow is actually very important lalo na sa country natin tropical and very very hot in general.kung di naman kaya mginvest in a good case pwede rin do-it-yourself where bubutas ka ng holes sa case at specific points,maganda rin kung habang ginagamit mo ay aircon ang room or at the very least may electric fan na nakaharap sa rig mo.

yung uncle ko may antec skeleton para sakin the ultimate in airflow hehe as in wala talagang barrier or walls yun nga lang mas susceptible to dust and grime at what more kung may lumipad na ipis papasok sa rig nun haha

Dont go with MSI 880GMA-e45
since there are reports of 'not-so-called' military class ang mga components.

Ill wait for the BD boards aka 990/980 boards to come out.

Actually they are available now..

and why should wait for the 980/990 board if bago palang ito meaning to say na wala pang good review ito. And for sure mahal pa sa market. Im an MSI user and overclocks very. And dun sa customer na nagpost sa cnet he dont even said the full details ng binuo nya na rig..

sir, paki lagay lang yung estimate budget natin kung more than 20k or less than 15k po.

hehehe ganyan talaga tol, kaka review mo kaka benchmark at kaka expand ng nalalaman mo sa parts lalo din nag eexpand yung budget. marami kasing comparison eh.

GPU po too much for the i3-2100.
Bottleneck eto. You can stick to 6790 @ Sapphire -- P6380 or Powercolor -- P5850
--magrurun pa din yan on full HD, and konting frames lang ang mababawas. mga 1-2 and unnoticeable na.

For the case, gandahan mo nalang ang case instead of this Elite, kasi manipis ang bakal nito. Kuha ka ng makapal na bakal na.

Ang sukli add dvd, add hsf.

ano po bang magandang casing?
for dvd po.. okay na ba to: Samsung 24x SH-S243N Sata LS - ₱950.00
then hsf? di ko alam. haha
