[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

sa ODD actually any ODD will do ,.. sa casing marami pang casing na mas maganda airflow pagkakaalam ko parang mini itx yang gusto mo e , kasi para sa kin mas preferred ko ang mga medium to full tower casings ... pwede ka namang mag aerocool strikex 2750 pesos ..
- other peripherals , mouse keyboard speakers avr check mo yung store na bibilhan mo baka may promo or ilibre na yang mga yan..

tsaka magkano ba budget mo at ano pang mga kulang sa set up mo

ah pacensya na, bali 3-5k ang badget ko para sa mobo
bli mobo na lang ang kulang

any idea kung saan rin makakabili ng water cooling parts,etc sa gilmore? yung mga brand na koolance, heatkiller, XSPC, etc... thanks.

Mga experts pa advice naman. nalaro ko kasi yung batman arkham sa Xbox360 nagandahan ako sa graphics, ang alam ko meron din game na ganito sa PC. Gusto ko malaro yung game na hindi mag log sa pc ko at syempre maganda din rin ang graphics. Any advice is accepted, gusto sana palitan muna videocard ko at memory? budget is 6k pero pwede ko iextend hangang 7k.

Sir mas maganda pa din ang sandy. kahit i3 lang. Thanks. Dont go with 555 since its a dual core. add your videocard. masyado mahina yan and pang htpc lang. Dont go for coolermaster, go for FSP or OCZ. or Antec.

its my first time bubuo ng gaming rig so kailangan ko ng advice guys

procie: if you're not into benchmark, 2500k is enough and powerful. konti additional fps lang sa 2600k. since HT is not game friendly.
pero if benchmarks, editing, etc. 2600k is a plus.

yes. mas mabilis. pero masyado na matagal ang 965. babagsak ang presyo ng mga yan hanggan 5k. if benchmarks lang pinaguusapan mas mataas ang benchmarks ng intel.
pero it doesnt mean na mahina ang amd. real world performance wala din difference.

baka akalain nyo im an intel sandy fanboy. nope. Im an AMD enthusiast. I prefer AMD rather than Intel. Pero be wise now, mas malakas ang Intel in terms of performance since wala pa ang AMD FX aka Bulldozer.

super thnx po.. kaso medyo tight po budget ko pra gaming rig, 15-17k lng po kaya ko. kung pupunta po ko sa sandybridge eh lampas 20k po ata ang gasto eh..

tungkol po dun sa psu, slamat po! may nkita na po akong FSP HEXA HE500 500w. ok po ba to? at abwt po dun sa mobo, ok din po ba yun?

Anu ang difference ng i7-2600 at i7-2600k? malayo ba?given na dun ung pede sya mag OC. tatanga tanga kasi ung sa gilmore na lalake dun. dapat ang bibilhin ko ung 2600k. e ako tatanga tanga din nag tanung ako kung parehas lang ba un sa 2600. sabe oo. un pala mag kaiba daw.

di ko nalang pinapaltan kasi wala ako time. Busy sa office eh.

Btw, eto ung specs ko:

Gskill 4gb 1333 (bought)

Inwin griffin case

Kaya ba nung PSU ko ung video card ko na dalawa? Any suggestions sa mga pde kong idagdag para mapaganda ung gaming rig ko?
