I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

San ba makakabili ng secondhand SATA HD na nasa 80-320gb lang? Naisip ko lng kasi bumili ng exclusive for OS lng para di na ko magpartition ng disk.

Low power consumption po ang i3 + HD 77XX series, kaya yan basta true rated ang PSU.

kahit anong h67 chipset swak na jan wala naman kasing unlock multipliers ang i5 2400 kaya hindi mo na kakailanganin ang overkill features ng p67 at z68 chipsets pero kung balak mong mag i5 2500k o i7 2600k in the near future mai susugest ko ay z68 para ma utilize mo ng maigi ang features ng mga mamahaling sandy bridge procie mo!

sabi kc ng psu calculator ko ay 500w ang minimum requirements ng system na yun!
just go for a higher wattages kc youll never know when to upgrade again! a good system starts with a good heart (psu).

asrock z68 pro3 gen3 (ang budget ko talaga dito sa mobo is 8k, palitan ko pa ba or masyado naman overkill kapag pinalitan ko?)
g.skill ripjawsX 2x2gb ddr3 cl8 (san ba may cl7 and magkano kaya yun?)
wdc 500gb sata3
fsp everest 600w (meron pa kaya nito sa pchub?)
nzxt lexa s

yung videocard, im planning to buy it after a month siguro. okay lang naman diba?? may built in naman?? gtx 560 1gb/256bit ddr5

sa monitor, pasuggest nalang rin. any monitor na 20" at mauutilize yung mga video ports nung mobo/videocard (i.e. hdmi, dvi). thanks

Kung generic na 450W, hindi kaya. But we are talking about Antec brand, and they have a reputation of under rating their PSUs. Meaning it can withstand even more power than their labeled rating. Unlike generic PSUs that usually can't withstand their labeled ratings. Actually I have a hunch that generic PSUs rate it based on AC power draw (Actual load + power wasted depending on efficiency) and not the actual load of the system.

And PSU calculators are usually overkill but I tried CoolerMasters calc and got only 300W. Baka naman recommendation na yan kasi usually ang rule of thumb is the load of the system times 2 to be around 50% loading. Dyan kasi yung pinakaefficient na loading.

*300/0.6 =500W Baka ang target ng calc mo is 60% loading, which is typical.

cpu : palitan mo na i5-2500k. 9600php
mobo : palitan mo na ng Asrock p67 extreme. 5800php
ram : if kaya mo pa sa 2x2gb un na muna. If lagi ka nagPhotoshop/render movies, 8gb na, if not 4gb muna para ung budget mapunta sa mobo/procie.
PSU : walang FSP Lighting sa PChub Pampanga. Meron Antec dun.
ATX : meron din dun Fractal cases. Baka matypan mo.
ODD : pedeng hindi na muna. Lagay na muna sa procie/mobo
GPU : pedeng maghintay muna mag-matured ang prices para sa 7000 series. pero 7770 is a better choice.

Im suggesting po 2500k kasi sayang ang pedeng i-overclock para sa processor. If kuha ka ng i5 2400, sayang kasi ung mga ilan GHZ para dun. Remember the old days na ang .1 or .2 ghz difference on price are 1000pesos per .1 or .2ghz. Now nasa hands mo na ang pag overclock adding 1ghz more on stock clock. Kaya grab it na. Para sulit ang pera.

go for the "K". There's a reason why i5-2400 are cheaper. Kasi hindi nabebenta ang mga 'to, one of the distro said. Enthusiast will be picking i5-2500, it is unlocked and it can go upto 4.5ghz without voltage bump.

Imagine how much you gain speed sa i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz.

sa case, trip ko talaga yung lexa s. thens sa hdd, and ram. okay na yan. wala na kong problema

yung videocard, pwede ba na kahit to follow nalang since z68 na mobo naman gamit ko??

ipon muna ko ng 3k, kulang pa budget ko para sa 40k na desktop,

Yup pedeng pede na ung z68 extreme and pede din mag IGP ka muna. Nung nag start din ako, 2months ako IGP.

500w is enough. Since pababa ng pababa ang power consumption ng mga videocards compare 2-3years ago.

regarding nga pala sa videocard, may review ka ba diyan ng gtx 560 at hd7770? 128-bit lang kasi yung 7770 diba, then 256-bit yung 560. better ba talaga yung 7770?

Malaki laki po ang 20-25k per pc. Since nasa 20pesos nalang ang per hour ngayon. Consider din kelan babalik ang puhunan mo.
Pero to give you a hint, Ung celeron dual-core ang best para sayo. (Better than Athlon II 250) and more energy efficient than other processors.

Siguro aabot lang ng 15k ang per pc mo. Give me a day. Let me see if tom. magawa kita specs.

kahit pa antec yan kung kulang ang wattage wa epek pa din! lakas ng system mo tapos ang hina ng psu! and nobodys talking about generic here i would not use and recomend that, its a total waste of money! magkano lng b diffrence ng 450w sa 500w! at ska ang basic ng antec ay may 75% effiency well thats not to good for me kung baga passing grade lng! much better 80+ sulit ka sa pera! hindi naman sa nagpapaka sosyal ako im talking about practicality! hindi lahat ng mura at pwede na ay practical!

yung extra budget mo para sa mobo ay ilagay mo na lang sa cpu sayang naman ang z68 mo kung hindi mo din gagamitin sa mga unlock cpu! ganito kc yan eh,

h61- budget friendly chipsets for the sandy bridge cpu

h67- multimedia oriented po itong mobo na ito para ma utilize mo ng maigi ang integrated gpu ng procie mo! typicaly pang htpc ito gawa ng igpu boost features nya!

p67- may turbo boost at unlocking features para sa mga unlock cpu but without the igpu boost or the lucid virtu tech.

z68- marriage ito ng h67 at p67. it has the unlocking ability of a p67 combined with the igpu boost or lucid virtu tech of an h67.

kaya any z68 will do kahit pa pro3 o extreme. basta dapat naka unlock cpu kana. kaya go for the core i5 2500k sya ang best gaming cpu for the money ngayon!

tungkol sa ram ok lng kahit single stick na 4gb sayang din ang pera sa 2x2 kahit anong latency (cl7,cl8,cl9) pa yan its nothing that you would recognize unless overclocker ka, pero kung hanap mo talga ay performance mag 4x2 ka, that you would realy see the diffrence.
g skill 8gb (4x2) ddr3 1333 cl9 - 2300php yata sa pc express

about sa monitor any samsung will do they are known for good quality and contrast. kung malaki budget mo para dito i suggest full hd o 3d ang kunin mo! grabe 7th heaven na ang rig mo!
