[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

tanong lang.. ano ba ang pwede na VC dito? GIGABYTE GA-M61PME-S2

current video card is nvidia 9400GT.. planning to buy radeon 5770 or any suggestions for this mobo? and what PSU?

for (not so hardcore) gaming and graphics purposes..

suggestions are greatly appreciated..

doubtful po kasi sir..hehe..wala po ba malaking effect sa performance yun? ask ko na dn po sir..yung sa build ko po kasi yung na-order na daw yung FSP AURUM na 700w..balak ko po na VC dun ay HD 7850 OC ..gusto ko po sana tlga yung 620w lang parang sobra kasi un tapos kung mgbalak naman ako na mag xfire di naman pwede sa 7850 OC 2x..anung lower cards po kaya pwede i-xfire dun sa future kung sakali??

Okay na yan. Sobra sobra pa nga yung PSU mo. Ang HD 7850 can run on a quality true rated psu na 450w. 2x HD 7850 on crossfire is more than enough sa PSU mo ngayon.

Okay na yan. Sobra sobra pa nga yung PSU mo. Ang HD 7850 can run on a quality true rated psu na 450w. 2x HD 7850 on crossfire is more than enough sa PSU mo ngayon.

salamat po ng madami sir! kala ko po talaga di kaya yung dual na 7850 OC ed di naman pala sayang yung PSU ko kung sakaling mg xfire ako sa future

Sir,gusto ko sana iupgrade yung memory tsaka gpu ng pc ko, ano po ba marerecommend nyo sakin. Yung memory po kahit 2Gb lang tapos yung gpu kahit 512mb-1Gb lang. Di naman po ako heavy gamer. Mga lan tsaka online games lang po nilalaro ko.

yung una, 20M:1 DCR then meron 5-pin D-Sub, 24-pin DVI and HDMI

budget: 15k or lower

Sa budget mo nyan sir kaya na yan bumou ng bagong pc.mas makakatipid ka kapag ikaw mismo bubuo.wag yung package yung bilhin mo mahal na kasi yun.mas mura pag ikaw mismo mag a-assemble.dagdagan mo nlng yan kahit 5k sakto na yan.

In terms of performance, walang Nvidia equivalent yan. If gusto mo talaga ng Nvidia:

Inno3D / Palit GT 440 DDR5 PHP 3500.00
