Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

which is better i5 3450 or i5 2500k? ung 2500k po naooverclock anu naman po ang laban ng 3450?thanks po

On stock performance, i5-3450 syempre. Mas mataas ang clock speed ng IB kesa sa SB. You could overclock the i5-2500K pero syempre it comes with an added cost of an aftermarket cooler.

3450 = lower tdp (77 tdp) pro usually 80 tdp
2500k = higher tdp (95 tdp) then pag na oc pa tataas pa

pro performance wise halos same lang yan. pro once na oc na ung 2500k alam na. pro base sa mga forums/articles medyo mas maiinit ang ivy kesa sa sandy eh not sure lang mukang same lang naman pag idle at full load.

You only have to worry about IB being hotter than SB when overclocked. i5-3450 is of course locked kaya di mo kailangan problemahin yan.

Di mo na gets idol. Walang kwenta yung processor na pinili mo dahil hindi mababasa ng mobo.

It's either:
1) Pa update mo yung BIOS sa store. Mataas chance na hindi ito gagawin, swerte mo lang kung ientertain ka.
2) Bili ka ng SB na processor. Cheapest is G530 pero syempre unnecessary expense yan.
3) Mang hiram ka ng SB processor sa kaibigan or kung sino na kakilala para maupdate mo BIOS.

Kung wala sa tatlong yan, hanap ka ng cheapest h77/b75 na mobo.

dipende kung anong klasseng school works gagawin mo. web / programming / 3d or movie rendering / cad. kase kung mga ganyang kabigat gagawin mo sa pc need mo atleast quadcore processor pra mabilis mag render.

*From my experience if you ask around or go to certain pc shops some of them sell certain parts less 50 to 100 pesos.*

Mas ok ang reference HD 6670 na DDR5 at that price range at use. HD 6670 DirectCU DDR3 is well suited for an HTPC build dahil tahimik yan.

Nope. Kahit GTX 670 pa yan, dalang dala ng processor.

TS: gusto kong iupgrade ung 2G ram memory nung laptop ko...
tinry kong dinagdagan ng another 2Gb at ngwork nga naging 4Gb.. pero hiram lang kasi ung other 2GB DDR3...gusto ko pong bumili ng 2GB DDR3 pero gusto ko po ung mejo high ung quality or ung tatak. Intel i5 ung gamit ko, ace aspire.. budget 1500 to 2K// advise naman ts

Mga sir, nakabili na ako ng unit ko. Kaso yung Mobo tska GPU iba, out of stock dw kasi yung Asrock h61m hvs tska sapphire hd 6670.

Ni recommend nilang mobo sa akin ung ASUS p8h61-m LX tapos GPU kong kinuha is ung Palit Gt 630. Nagamit ko na siya, so far kaya niya naman mga games. Salamat pala sa tulong niyo ah.

Mga bossing okay lang ba na magkaiba yung laki ng ram na ilalagay ko sa dalawang slots?
Example:
1st slot 512mb ram : 2nd slot 2gb ram

Example:
1st slot 512mb ram : 2nd slot 2gb ram

Laptop po sir ah, meron po bang mabbiling ganyn? at saan po? at anung brand po. my nkita po akong brand eh NEO po maganda specs. 15k lng. kaso may nabasa po ko nung niresearch ko ung brand, maraming negative feedback. ok lang po ba yng neo?
at ano po kaya mabbili ko sa 15k na budget ko po kahit sa gilmore po ko bumili.

mahirapan ka mag autocad sa ganyang budget. need mo i3 processor then atleast 4gb memory and 128bit ung gpu nya.

pro ito suggestion ko kung kayanin mo bilin toh pwedeng pwede na toh.

Bro from experience masasabi ko na mahirap ang upgrades ng karaniwang p4 kasi agp slot ddr1 memory agp ang slot. kung gaming din lang ang pupuntahan niyan better buy nlang. heheh opinion ko lang to.
